Trade that guy.

You might get your wish this off season when Nico trades PJ, Lively, and all 1st rounds picks they have left for KD.

Yes sure, KD will waste probably his last year at high level to play with his friends having 0 chance to win a ring

Nico will go for KD but HOU probably beats their offer...I can see Nico then pivoting to Lamelo Ball(TEMU version of Luka) ...he seems like his kind of player, american arrogant, injured a lot

Have you seen Dirk's interview? Might be a bit harder if you don't understand German. I luckily do lol and i tell you he's pissed with the new owners and what they did. And when Dirk is mad, you know you f*cked up biiiig time.

I just saw tweet thread about it on Kirk Henderson page, really really sad and really really frustrating, who the hell does Nico Harrison think he is? And how did Dumont allow him to do it?

You think chances of them moving Mavs to Vegas got higher when people recently rejected gambling in that area? They're saying they have no intentions of doing that but how things got done recently (mostly under the table), i would assume there is at least 1% chance of them saying "well, we tried but city of Dallas didn't want it so were going back to Vegas along with the team".

Dirk said he basically was not involved with Mavs since Cuban sold them and Cuban himself has 0 influence anymore. These idiots can literally do whatever they want and don't care about the public opinion.

I find hilarious Cuban and other Mavs' representatives being upset about those very mild comments from the fans. 1/2 fans in Europe is far more obnoxious jerks than those and I'm not even talking about Ultras, who would have eaten Cuban alive, but you can be sure, he wouldn't **** with them.

Nba losing viewership is mostly because they have the best players but product is far too political correct. It's like watching Disney movies.

In the Derby of my city we need SWAT units with horses tp keep the order, but this is NOT what the NBA is about, never was and never will be, it's an entertainment product aimed to be family friendly, that's why Sports business is important, fans phase out unsuccessful teams and ride the bandwagon of successful ones, which makes the trade 10 times as stupid...
It has always been this way, that's the Sports experience in the US, the declining viewership is about modern viewing and entertainment practices more than the NBA product itself.

My point is that Cuban, PJ and others have really no business being upset with few fans. They're as benign as they can be in situation like that. If PJ wants a support, his team should firstly beat a team with Grimes as far the best player. Just shut up and play until you deserve better. He has played only 6 games after the trade, so I don't understand why he's that upset anyway?

Than Nba product should change. We need more confrontation, more bad guys, more engaged fan bases, better media...RS in Nba is more or less useless, season too long, games too long...Half of teams are bad or tanking for whatever reasons. New stars as Sga or Tatum are boring as hell. We have new clueless owners. Something should and will change.

Mister PJ Washington should just apologize to the (few) paying fans present for the horrible spectacle on the court.

He should consider himself lucky that they are not in europe. Trust me.

Exactly, the only ones, who should be upset are fans, paying for this **** show. FO and owners made the decision they must live with and players are still millionaires, winning or losing.

0 chance...
Team valuation is a derivative of market size, even after ruining the future of the franchise, they can sell it at price close to what they paid, because they didn't pay that much compared to the Suns for example.
If they want to move to Vegas, NOP and Grizzlies are much cheaper franchises, that are struggling to justify their existance financially, and they can buy them for half the price and move them, I also don't think they are interested in it, they are divesting from Vegas anyway.

Agree.

They want to built casinò in Texas, Dumont said it again some days ago.

I hope Texas will never allow it.

I don’t believe KD believes he would have zero chance at a ring with Kyrie and AD. And KD also already has a ring. The last few years he’s been looking for a place to play where he’s having fun. What better way to have fun then to play with several of your close friends (again this includes Kidd and Nico who KD is very close to).

Again I could be totally off base with this. I just personally think he’s going to force a trade to Dallas and Nico is going to give up all remaining assets including Lively and PJ to acquire KD from the Suns.

The NBA wouldn’t approve that unless they already had a new owner willing to pay the $6 billion dollar buy in to start a new franchise in Dallas.

They have certainly given several hundred thousand fans (if not more) a reason to vote No.

Kyrie will play next season, he just won’t start the season. I expect he’ll be back around the time they come back from the All Star break. As long as the team is in the mix by then they would have a chance to make a run. That’s what the team believes and I think that’s what KD will believe.

Even if he comes after ASB, which is a big if for 33 years old player with prior knee injury, he will need additional few months to be Kyrie we know. And don't forget that he needs his body to be 100% back to play his style of basketball. If he loses just 10% of his athleticism, it's over for him. Kyrie has never rushed anything with injuries and he for sure won't rushed anything before signing his probably last big contract.

Injury prone AD and KD won't be enough for playoffs anyway, if they traded everyone away for KD. ( Mavs don't even have bad contracts on disposal). Just look at Suns.

You’re preaching to the choir there my friend. I agree with you 100%. We are not talking about what you and I think though. We are talking about Nico and KD. Kyrie’s injury has an 8-12 month recovery time. After the All Star break would put Kyrie right at 12 months since the injury.

Again, we all know that an ACL injury takes really about 2 years to fully recover from. I guarantee you though Nico is not thinking that and that’s not how he’s going to sell it to KD. He will be traded to Dallas and they all will expect to go on a run after Kyrie gets back (after the all star break).

Of course we all know that won’t happen though. Kyrie won’t be near ready to come back, AD will be hurt again, and KD will once again he a lone star trying to keep the Mavs hopes alive.

Yeah. The traffic was padded by the Luka stans that have moved to following LA since the trade.

This is prerty similar to when Bron left Cleveland and took the bronsexuals with him to Miami. Then eventually to LA.

Not just Luka stans, people don't have to follow local team that isn't interesting, they shouldn't invest in team that shows them no respect, I actually expect most of their traffic loss to be local.
