Wizards have made a move acquiring 6'10/24 y o Marvin Bagley and 6'6/25 y o Isaiah Livery. Kuzma might be ready to be moved.

No FRPs? Ok. No real assets for him.
I look to the Pistons, they may trade Stewart... Or maybe dump/waive Gallinari but unfortunately Kidd doesn't know how to coach and he would play him at C for sure just like Bertans

Re: Dallas Mavericks 2023/24 Trade thread
1st 21 y o /6'9" Patrick Baldwin gets some minutes in the rotation and now Marvin Bagley is gotten in a trade.......... making Kyle Kuzma trade ready ? The 2 best big forwards available are 29 y o Siakam 22.3 ppg /6'3 rpg /4.9 apg & 28 y o Kyle Kuzma 22.4 ppg /6.4 rpg /4.2 apg. You can say Siakam is putting his numbers up with a better team BUT who says Kuzma wouldnt do better if in the same position.
The three teams making noise at least by the media is Dallas or Indiana or Sacramento ,all teams with winning records.

I like Stewart as backup center / PF at times when we need to play big. Can even kick Grant Williams down to the 3 at times. He can also shoot the 3 and he gives us some toughness. We need some toughness on this team. Someone who is not afraid to mix it up down there....physicality!

If Stewart can really shoots from outside (39% this season) then he is our man, he can start PF and shares backup C minutes with Kleber.
G-Will is a 3/4... No one in the world would let him play at C.
When Kidd can't understand how to use player he use them at backup C. He likes to throw players under the bus.
Just like Bertans last year... So fans can blame the player and he comes out clean.
It's his way and it helped him a lot when the things go wrong.
But this **** is nearly ended.
Finally everybody understood how he is bad as a coach.

They just traded 2 frontcourt players for players that wont be used to fill any positions .Stewart looks to be a part of Detroits plans. I doubt he's going to be traded to Mavs or any other team.
Because the Mavs already have high dollar players in Luka and Kyrie I dont think theyre trading for a 37 million $ man who wants to get paid more next yr and longer. Kuzma or Gafford starting to look like the target for the Mavs.

Re: Dallas Mavericks 2023/24 Trade thread
Seems like Mavs want to make a big splash on the market(se all want a big name) ,but the lack of assets(pick+talented Young Players) is really limiting their options...I wouldn't mind them going after WCJ,he seems to be on a trading block...Wiggins is being linked with them, but the only way I'm trading for him is if GS takes Holmes and Maxi+ second pick or Holmes and Curry...Charrlote is interested in Green, but what do they have the Mavs would want??PJ is ok, but he's an undersized PF like Grant, though better on O...they probably wouldn't give up Bridges, though he would fill the SF position on Mavs...next year they'll have more picks, expirings to trade...this season they Just have to get some better rotational pieces, like:
-Drummond
-WCJ
-Jalen Mcdaniels
-KJ Martin
-Dodo(if you can get him without the first)
-Royce O'Neale
Siakam would be amazing, but if you can get any of those players without a first, you need to try... unfourtunately there aren't many good PF available, without giving up a first, and Siakam,Grant and Kuzma are the only ones worth giving it up for cause Lauris price is even bigger

Re: Dallas Mavericks 2023/24 Trade thread
Throwing out a random trade proposal since I like both Washington and Richards' fit here.
DAL Receives: PJ Washington + N. Richards
CHA Receives: Hardy + Green + Holmes + 2 SRPs
DAL gets a solid starting level 4 and a solid backup big. Both are biggest issues. We compete this year and still retain all our FRPs to make a big splash in the offseason.
CHA gets 2 young guards that can grow with Lamelo and both love playing fast. They probably want more but I doubt our FO would give more then that.

Is Siakam trade realistic?
Wish Mavs signed Budenholzer to replace Kidd in the summer. He made Bucks contenders.

Re: Dallas Mavericks 2023/24 Trade thread
GG Jackson starting to show his potential...he's used his oportunity pretty good, with all the injuries they have...2 good games in a row, something Green has trouble doing in his 4th year
Really wanted the Mavs to get a second rounder and draft him... offcourse there's no guarantee he'd get to play for the Mavs since Omax(who's more experienced) doesn't get the chance despite all the injuries

The coach Mavs missed out on is Nick Nurse, coach Bud is a great RS coach, I prefer Kidd in the PO.
Siakam trade is getting more and more realistic the closer you get to the deadline, I don't see the Raptors keeping him past the deadline, Pistons will have a go at him in FA, IND and DAL are the main competitors, OKC doesn't seem interested, GSW may be out of PO race by the deadline.

Yes I went to sleep last night dreaming a trade similar to this happened. Essentially Green out, PJ in. But also getting Richards would be awesome. Im sure Char would have interest in either Hardy or CUrry who has local ties there.
But even if they wont give up Richards in the swap, we should still try to find a way to make a Green/Holmes for PJ/filler swap work. Best for both teams.

Re: Dallas Mavericks 2023/24 Trade thread
Jerami Grant answers nothing of what this team needs, big wing defense and rebounding, he's the THJ of forwards.
I have no doubt Nico is interested, I'd hate it if he pulls the trigger, I'd be depressed if paid this insane price.
I'd rather go all in on Siakam, or chase lower level PF.

You insult G-Will every games because he is a bad rebounder and now do you recommend a trade for another wing who averages 4 rebound per game (and owned a 100M contract)?
This article is trash and it's from Portland fan base, it can't be good.
Let this **** team in the lottery team, they can only dump Jerami Grant. Nobody will trade FRPs for him.

Yeah I don't think Grant is worth the price..I know they're probably waiting how the Siakam situation develops, but they should seriously Look into trading for WCJ...he's young,on a nice contract and could really work well as Lively replacement...they should at least ask what ORL wants for him...Wiggins value is low, don't know what's going on with him(probably a metal thing, judging by reports) ,but if they could get him on the cheap could also be a solid option...Wiggins for Timmy,Curry and WCJ for Holmes + seconds to ORL(or swap the first)

Shams Charamia is reporting everyone is available not named Stephon Curry .
Id go after Dario Saric 21mpg , 10ppg , 5.7 rpg ...shooting 48/39.6/85 ...6'10 /225 29 yo , 2miilion for Jaden Hardy 1.7 million and a 2nd round

No. Saric is damaged goods, a horrible defender, and coming up on 30 years old.
I like him maybe as a vet minimum guy in the offseason, but I would never give up 2 assets for him right now.

I hope you meant Morris, not Hardy...a Young, talented Player, with upside and you would trade him for a minimum guy no one wanted at the start of the season...hope Nico isn't thinking like that

If Dario Saric is damaged goods than what is Grant Wms problem : Grant's #'s 27mpg. 8 ppg, 3.5 rpg, .....shooting 41.5/37.1/69 at 10 million $$$ more ALSO he's from Croatia ,Slovenia's and Luka's neighbor.
