Trade AD to Detroit for TObias, Simone, Ivey, Hollins, 2 or 3 FRP's
Trade Ivey & Hollins to get into this year's top 7
Take Tre Johnson or Kneuppel
Don't want Jrue, but if it only costs Klay/Martin/Hardy; do it

Start of the season
Jrue/Williams
Tre Johnson or Kneuppel/Christie
Flagg/Naji
PJ/Tobias/Simone
Lively/Gaff

I wouldn't take another Duke guy after Flagg. The chances that there are 2 or more NBA starters in a single batch for one school is very slim. That's like Zion and his Duke friends. One is almost out of the league now and the other one has a job because his dad has pull with Canadian basketball.

KAT and Booker are doing just fine though

Would love this for the Mavs

Anthony Davis for Miles Bridges, Jusuf Nurkić, a 2027 first-round pick, a 2029 first-round pick and a 2031 first-round pick

Make that 2027 the more favorable of the picks they have (including ours). Shed a ton of money, and get rid of Anthony Day to Day

Statistically, I wouldn't bet on it. Especially with Duke alums.

Kyrie and Lively are not from the same batch.

The chances of having 2 NBA stars from the same batch, from the same school is very slim. My point is, if Nico does manage to get 2 top 10 picks for this draft, don't burn it on 2 Duke guys just to assemble an all-Duke lineup for Flagg. High chance the 2nd Duke guy doesn't pan out.

SGA and PJ were teammates, Bam, Fox and Monk were teammates, it's not that rare...
Michigan fab 5 provided 3 NBA stars, Villanova had Brunson, Hart, DDV and Bridges (and another guy who was 3rd string PG on the Knicks with Italian name)

CP3 said at this point he wants to be a dad and close to his family. They live in LA if i'm not wrong. Which means Mavs are more or less out of the picture.

Basically that's a rebuild..only happens if mgmt signals that's the direction they want to go... However, if im Cha, why would I take that? I think the only team that should ideally take on A.Davis is someone with an undesirable player they want to get rid of such as Beal with Phx...aside from that I wouldn't give up much for him because of his injury history.

Walk with me.

Make the East busy. AD + Kyrie to Cleveland for Garland + Mobley.

Indiana wiped the floor with that Cleveland team despite having that much regular season wins. Eventually they will need a rebuild.

Garland, Flagg, Mobley, and Lively is the future.

Per Stein.

Sources: Knicks plan to ask Dallas for permission to pursue Jason Kidd

I still don’t see how they have the assets to trade for Kidd. All they have a top 8 protected pick from Washington. Considering how bad Washington is that pick is not going to convey and will be reverted to two 2nd round picks. I know most of you don’t like Kidd but I’m not giving Kidd to NY. For only two 2nd round picks.

Heck as low on firsts as we are, I may actually be willing to give one up for that :)
