How about a trade between DAL, GS, CHA and Orlando:

DAL: WCJ, P.J. Washington, Wiggins

GS: THJ

CHA: Green, Holmes, one second

ORL: Hardy, Maxy , one second

Dallas would absolutely win this trade...they get a C, a PF and a SF...Wiggins value is low, maybe GS takes Timmy, cause he's owed less money and only one more season...ORL would get Hardy,Kleber and a second...might feel light, but I saw this as a proposal from one ORL fan and I think that would be a great trade for Mavs if ORL would accept(doubt they would though)...and CHA would get Green(who they supposedly want..is one of the Players they're interested in) and Holmes(he expires next year)...now this trade might also feel light but if they truly want Green I think Nico should hold firm...Holmes contract is only one more year long

If I were to surmise why he's being linked here, it's because it's a possible 3 way deal with NY, ATL & DAL. DAL gets Grimes + Capela, NY gets Murray, ATL gets Green + fillers + draft compensation from both teams. Something like that.

I would need to be pretty awesome draft compensation for the Hawks.

1 from DAL (maybe slightly protected) and 3 from NY most likely.

Even if the other teams were somehow willing, I think it's too big of a trade midseason. Trading 4 rotation players and adding in 3 into your top 8 would be very difficult to mesh. I think it needs to be smaller. Maybe 2 of the incoming players, max.

No matter who they go for now, that Pascal is gone, they won't be a contender this year...by getting two and not giving up assets they would have at least a solid fonundation for next year...next offseason is gonna be crucial,it will be make or brake this team...Luka won't be happy with more dissapointments

Any trade involving Wiggins is leading to disaster.

CHA Receives: Grant Williams + Hardy
DAL Receives: Washington + Richards

I threw this idea in T&T and some CHA fans like it. I think this just balances our roster so much more. Rotation as follows:

Luka/Exum
Kyrie/Green
DJJ/THJ
Washington/Maxi
Lively/Richards

That's a pretty solid 10 man rotation to make a little noise and then go into the offseason with all the ammunition to make a bigger upgrade.

I suggested something similar but mine was:
Green/Hardy/Holmes for Washington/Richards

I like yours better because I'd rather keep Green over Williams.
Richards is the perfect backup for Lively imo.

Great trade for us but i don't think Charlotte is agree, maybe with a couple of SRPs and cash compensation.

I wouldnt mind that. Who do you think we'd have to trade to get him?

I wouldnt mind him either. I know he doesnt give us the D we so desperately need, but this team needs a change and young guys who actually have heart and a smidge of basketball IQ. Pretty much, not like Josh Green for either attribute, or Hardy for the latter one.

Hardy or Green + filler i think it's enough... Smith has a PO next year, probably Indiana will lose him anyway.

He can play 4 or 5, not a super star but a 23yo guy with upside.

WOuld have to be a 3 teamer. Carlisle knows first hand Josh Green sucks, so would never take him

I think Green has some trade value but i'm afraid because Cuban is a stupid pride man and rather than admit a mistake he will resign him for 10 years just like that scrub Dwight Powell.

Marvin Bagleys 1st game with the Wizards was a dbl/dbl (20pts/11rebs/3 blocks) while Daniel Gafford was out with concussion protocol. Both guys need minutes and Gafford might become the odd man out.

I dont think Mavs are gonna get a PF in this trade cycle but they still need a backup Center and Gafford 25 y o at 12 million is a good investment. In 26 mpg he avgs 10.4 ppg/7.6rpg/2.1 bpg while shooting 68 percent .He plays just like Lively does . I would offer up Josh Green,Jaden Hardy,Powell and draft considerations.

Yea he's so darn stubborn. Digs his heels in rather than admit he fouled up. Josh was a terrible pick, Rondo trade was a disaster. No need to try to convince anyone otherwise, just own it, learn form it, and move on.

Siakam is a very good defender. This is just a wilding incorrect interpretation of Siakam’s skills.

Wilding incorrect? Is really necessary to go with full aggression in every post?

His defensive stats are, not only this season, very average at best.

Wildly* obviously. I apologize that my phone loves to autocorrect incorrectly but **** happens.

I don’t know what you think aggression is but pointing out that you consistently are completely incorrect all the time around here isn’t aggression. It’s just factsz

Just look at his defensive stats. Average or bad. And don't say that you're watching Toronto constantly because I don't believe you.

Nets asking for two firsts for Dodo... they're delusional...he's maybe worth one late first to a contender, which Dallas isn't...I like Dodo but it's Best to move on,I wouldn't give up a first for him

Return to Dallas Mavericks
