Mavs usually play well against OKC, but that's with DIRK.

RC needs to keep Marion locked onto Durant and someone on the Mavs will need to pick up the scoring load.

I was hoping that Dirk would come back tonight to help the team for the 3rd straight win, too bad...

Since we don't play as good at home, I think tonight will be an ugly loss for us

GO GO GO MAVS!

I really don't think Dirk is as hurt as this time off suggests. I think he is just getting some extra rest.

Let's hope so.

I think it's also upper management being overly cautious since it's a knee injury and not his normal sprained ankle he gets.

Exactly.

Dirk said his knee and ankle had been bothering him for a while before the injury.. Im sure they will keep him out for another week. No rush, but I would like him back for the Spurs game on the 14th.

Mavs out to a good start both offensively/defensively.

Barea is being careless with the ball offensively, turning it over, and not running the offense whatsoever.

Mavs should try and make Dojo the primary ball handler.

Offense is still really bad out there since there are no shot creaters, but at least Barea is attacking the basket now and being more mindful of his ball handling.

A lineup of Barea/Kidd/Stevenson/Cardinal/Haywood isn't going to score in bunches.

Barea isn't the greatest at finding the open man, but Cardinal is definitely the greatest at being a goon and allowing no easy buckets.

Mavs are a totally different team with Chandler in the ballgame.

And we're still saying Barea's a better PG than Roddy? That is what we are saying? Right? Right?

Well people also claim he's a better PG than Terry which is even crazier

There's no reason good enough for why Terry/Barea should be on the floor together for 20 minutes a night.

This is what happens when your PFG is 6'8" Cardinal....your SF is 6'2" Terry and your SG is 5'10" Barea.

Uhhhh!

Watching this game immediately makes me want to knee jerk and get whatever high priced player is even a slight upgrade over them. Makes me want to trade Butler for Gooden and Udrih just to get rid of Barea and Cardinal. At least they waived Novak...they should have done the same to Cardinal.
