I think JET should be a starter to use Marion on offence.

If Barea is a PG, he should play with DS who is the best option to guard Roy.
If Barea is not a PG, JET should play with DS and Barea should be a starter as SG.
Nate knows well how to deal Barea as PG. I think its dangerous for Mavs.

Im sure Marion is the key in this PO offensively and Barea against POR.
If DS cant use Marion on offence like the 1st game, I think it must be a big misstake for Mavs.

Crawford does appear to have quite a record against Dallas....

Players have to step up. Maybe he does have a bias against Dallas and their style of play.

Unfortunately, that cannot be changed. He will be the lead ref, and that's the way it is.

The Mavericks have to be ultra aggressive and 'man up'.

Dirk is the absolute best player on the floor, and he has to show that.

I again want to see 13 free throw attempts from him (or more).

They need to set the tone early.

I hear you, but I actually thought Terry played well (for once). He was aggressive and got to the line....
I am all about drawing fouls.... he effectively did that. If he plays like that for the rest of the series, 25 mins of playing time is not out of the question.

The offense was ok; not great, but ok.

If Dallas can keep Portland in the 80s (scoring), they will win the series without a problem.

Bottom line: if Dallas stays aggressive on the defensive end, they have enough offense to win. If it's an ugly series, so be it. I am a child of the 1990s NY Knicks.

For the series, I want to see less Barea and more Brewer.... It seemed as if Portland was having their way with him (as they did during the regular season).

Seriously, when I saw his name, I knew what level of stress I am going to have tonight...

Dallas Mavericks just have to be that much better tonight to overcome the biased officiating.
Dallas can not use this as an excuse. Mavs need to win by 12 so that the score shows a 2 point victory.

Big game tonight. Can't wait.


Can't count on Terry, but I do expect Kidd to continue to knock down 3's. Give Brewer some minutes. Matrix needs to be aggressive, if he catches kick out passes from the wing he needs to attack the rim and not differ to Dirk.

Pack the lane, they can't shoot. These lobs Tyson is giving up is unacceptable.

The Mavs need to stay focused... Its very easy for them to ease up when they are in the lead (whether its in the series or in the game), hopefully they will treat this like a game 7 because taking a 2-0 lead to Portland would be huge.

Enjoy Stud! As usual I'll be spending another middle of the night until early morning in front of my screens turning my biorythm completely upside down (its somewhat ok during the regular season but during the playoffs there are no games that can be missed;))
