I couldn't have been more wrong about Zaza coming into this season and at this point I really think he's a better starting center than Tyson.

Chandler is currently averaging 5.0 points, 8.8 rebounds and 0.7 blocks per game. Last season here in Dallas, he was averaging 10.3 points, 11.5 rebounds and 1.2 blocks per game. His minutes are also down to five minutes less per game than last season and his shooting percentage this season of .464 is the second-lowest of his career and well off last year’s .667.

If somehow Phoenix had managed to grab L. Aldridge the Tyson deal could easily be justified, but right now I can't imagine their FO is too pleased that they have him for another 3 years. Hindsight is 20/20, but we dodged a bullet with both Deandre and Tyson and somehow wound up with a player who fits in perfectly on and off the court.

I believe Tyson would be playing better here in Dallas next to Dirk than he is in Phoenix. His game was complimentary to Dirk. We would be really missing him if Zaza wasn't so awesome right now.

I posted this in the GB as well, but Tyson has always succeeded when he was playing next to an All Star caliber 4, whether it was Dirk, Amare, or D. West.. He doesn't have that in Phoenix and they are still trying to develop Len as their C of the future.. Not sure as to why they even offered a 33 year old Tyson that contract in the first place.

Trade Wesley Matthews and Salah Mejri to Phoenix for Tyson Chandler and Sonny Weems.
