Hopefully Porzingis taught Dirk a thing or two and he grew as a player.

More seriously, it's good that those workouts happened, especially since in this recent interview http://www.spiegel.de/sport/sonst/nba-dirk-nowitzki-im-interview-ich-bin-ja-eher-oldschool-a-1156072.html he mentioned his achilles was giving him some issues (according to google translate ah)

Dirk needs to put his GM hat on and get Porzingis to demand a trade to Dallas.

I think Porzingis would take his game to another level under Rick Carlisle.

My thoughts exactly when I saw this thread...

How dreamy would it be to have Dirk all over, but even better at his young age on D especially(so far at least).

Better yet, Dirk needs to get hold of some of KP's stem cells and put them in his knees. Maybe play a few more years.

Knicks might agree to trading Kristaps if Dallas agrees to absorb Joakim Noah's contract along with it. Mcbob + Wes + Seth + DFS + 2018 1st + 2020 first?

I'd do that in a heartbeat. I have no problem absorbing salary and trading picks for talent like Porzingis.

I wouldn't. Kristaps and Barnes would be gone after two years of being surrounded by garbage players.

I'd have faith in Cuban and Donnie to spare no expense to put a strong team around them. I just think Mavs should have capitalized on a Porzingis trade when senile Phil Jackson was running the show in NY.
It's a non issue as I don't think Dallas has the balls(or the assets) to make a franchise changing trade like this anyway.
