Devin Traded for Dougie McBuckets

I can handle this. We need forwards and youth. Worth a look.

Wish it was Barea, but at least we addressed a need at the wing and got younger

I like the trade.
The second makes it even better.

Now if only we could find a Barea and Noel trade out there

Fun fact. I think Barnes and Mcbuckets were high schhol teammates from Ames, Iowa.

I like it. Exactly the type of move we should be doing. Also got a 2nd rounder.

Losing Harris hurts. I guess Denver didn’t want ball hog over dribble Barea.

The most important thing is probably that Harris is expiring, while Barea is owned about $4 mill next year,

Better than nothing. I guess. He is a RFA after this season.

Devin Traded for Dougie McBuckets

He just turned 26 and his game doesn’t revolve around athleticism so he could fit the LT plans. It’s a solid pick up but not exciting.

McDermott is the type of free agent we should be looking at in the summer, so this is a chance to kick the tires on him. Plus we pick up a 2nd and hopefully some more ping pong balls with Devin gone.

Exactly, Barea, Noel, Mejri and Curry should be tradeable to some team. And we climb up one spot as Magic and Hawks kill each other. We're now tied for the top pick. We need more moves like that.

Doug McDermott does shoot 3s like Korver with a little slower release, though. But he seems to have no business on the defensively end. I think the most important issue is he doesn't seem to be a 2 or a 3. He's to be able to defend at least one position to earn minutes. Now that Barnes is not the worst rebounder at 3, I guess. I am still more interested in Will Barton. But to be sure, Doug McDermott is better than Hezonja as a prospect. At least, he does one thing pretty well.

Awesome trade.

I'll miss the heck out of Devin and hope he comes back to DFW one day.

I'm really happy about the trade. Who's 2nd did we get?
