Time for Carlisle to play young guys + Dirk. We don’t need to see Wes Matthews or JJ Barea play more than 15 minutes each. (doesn’t mean Carlisle feels the same)

And it’s not that I hate Barea, it’s that I hate him taking away precious development minutes in a tank season.

Yeah, I love JJ and I think he is a good influence on the young guys. This just seems like a wasted season for him, when he could be a contributor on a team with actual post season ambitions. I really wish he could have gone someplace like New Orleans where he could have a shot at playing in the post season again.

Fun win, good minutes for McBuckets. Powell played great. I was just disappointed that Noel and Motley didn’t get any playing time. This win was a needed morale booster but it’s time to get back to the tank.

And BTW, Lakers gamethread was like 22 pages and 408 posts. Mavs thread was one page and 12 posts.

No wonder Dallas isn’t attractive to free agents, 4th largest market in the USA and Mavs have no fans whatsoever. Yet all these stupid douchebags in DFW worship the worthless Dallas Cowboys that haven’t won anything since 1996 and are the definition of mediocrity.

One of the things that irritates me is the coverage the Cowboys get in the local radio media compared to the Mavs. I get they are "America's team" but damn it would be nice to get more than 10 mins of coverage in a 3 hour period in the middle of the NBA season compared to 2 hrs and 50 mins of Cowboy coverage in the same 3 hours.

I tuned into local sports talk shows like 2 hours before the trade deadline and there was nothing but Cowboys talk. I’m not sure why people love the Cowboys with a senile owner with a puppet coach putting out decades of very average to below average football.
