That’s very sad. I’m glad he was around to experience the title run. He seemed like a wonderful man. Rest In Peace

Don Carter had life experiences that one can only dream about. I wish his family strength during this difficult time. Thank you for the memories!

we owe a lot to Mr. Carter. The Mavericks would have never existed if not for him and I have enjoyed the game and been a fan since the franchises beginning. Rest in peace and while you are up there already how about you see if you can pull some strings with the big guy to see about getting us the first pick in the draft. Hope the family will endure and recover from such a terrible loss.

Exactly. If it wasn’t for him there would be no Mavericks. At least not the Mavs we know today.
