Point forward, as we have been saying all along. At SG and SF you take away his playmaking to some extent which is his best quality. And he is the best playmaker on this Mavs team....

This is a useless stat. Why do TO count negatively, but not for example steals/blocks/rebounds positively? And even if someone thinks it's not useless stat, it's pretty obvious that you can only compare players playing at same position. It is especially important not to compare offensive facilitators vs. the rest. I believe Doncic has probably around 25-30% assisted points. I think I saw Ayton being around 70-80%. Obviously the TO's will look completely different.

Thanks for posting the formula. I hope people stop posting this useless stat, it makes no sense at all.

Speaking of strange stats, here is one where Doncic ranks second in the league:

DeMar DeRozan SAS 2.9 (1.62 + 1.27)
Luka Doncic DAL 2.7 (1.53 + 1.17)
Rodney McGruder MIA 2.68 (1.48 + 1.19)
Donovan Mitchell UTA 2.67 (1.48 + 1.19)
Jrue Holiday NOP 2.66 (1.44 + 1.23)
Nicolas Batum CHA 2.63 (1.4 + 1.23)
Kawhi Leonard TOR 2.61 (1.42 + 1.2)
Wesley Matthews DAL 2.61 (1.44 + 1.17)
Buddy Hield SAC 2.6 (1.41 + 1.2)
De'Aaron Fox SAC 2.6 (1.38 + 1.22)

Last season the best in the league was 2.69 (1.52 + 1.17)

I posted this funny stat on the GB... guess what it is. :) No googling, no checking stat websites!

Good for the Mavs. They actually have another franchise level talent.

Let's check that list after 82 games lol.. After 7 games is basically nothing. Still impressive but in my opinion a bit meaningless.

Hockey assists?

Distance run. He is fat and out of shape but apparently he still runs more than anyone else in the league. :)

It's always funny when NBA fans call the players fat. Those dudes are lean as **** IRL.

Well, he sort of is playing "PG", just not in the traditional sense. More like Playmaking PF, like LeBron.

I have been really impressed by Luka so far. He is playing very well, better than I expected. When they let him run the offense almost always good things happen. He let the team back against the Spurs, now against the Lakers and they even let him have the ball in the last possesion. I think Carlisle clearly sees and knows all this, he is just experimentin for now.

Great job by Luka, he is getting better by the game. Its close but right now he would be my ROY. Hope he can keep it up...

I need to share this :) Skip Bayless just gave Luka major props in the show. Just at the end after debating about Lakers for half an hour but anyway. He said Luka over Trae anyday. Was impressed by his performance after a bad start.

What guys doesn’t understand Luka is an extremely nice guy. One can imagine he expects that nice behavior from others too. If he was betrayed he will not be nice to them. ...
Luka makes lightning quick decisions. On and off the court.
Pat Riley and Dragic flying to Dallas. Dragic-DNP for Heat today.
Plan C, f*** you all ra***t immature kindergarten delusional vets, direction Madrid.

How is that overreaction?
Was I right on everything about Luka and how good he is, from before draft and after draft? That was then described as overreaction too.

After all, he is a free person. And he is a team player. DAJ and others who cooked this sh*t, thay are going to eat all and be nice.
