People are overreacting Beverely who's turned down 50M / 3 YR offer from Sacremento. From the starting, it's only about the lifestyles in LA or lack of income tax in Texas. And Beverely has LA in mind without even playing a visit to Dallas.

Crazy night with the trade.
LA Clippers emerged as big winners last night.

It’s likely he already knew that Kawhi was going to join the Clippers and that he was he was working on trying to get the team to also trade for Paul George.

Houston gets Westbrook for nothing and unloaded CP for 2 firsts. Minny should feel shame not making a move now.

It's more of OKC doing Westbrook a solid by sending him to a team of his choice or a team that can compete.

Presti not really trying to get a lot of value.

I'm not sure CP3 had significantly less value than Russ. Another win for Presti picking up 2 firsts. Paul isn't going to play out the duration of his contract in OKC, but at least Presti reset the clock on Westbrook's ticking time bomb.

Well that and did Houston actually have a lot more to give back in return? Maybe some 2nds and cash, but honestly, there's not a lot there to realistically take just as a developmental project.
