Frank isnt Wes' defensive assignment. It's Tim Hardaway Jr who will drop 35 like Kent Bazemore did. Now Bazemore is back to scoring 7 a game.

It's funny how this season this doesn't sound threatening at all. Oh one of your players will score 35? Big deal, my team is scoring 150 points anyway.

I have a better question. Lakers actually prepared for Doncic, you could see that they weren't lying when they watched the films of him. But they have long guys who can disrupt his shot. Soooo.... who in the blue moon will guard Luka on the NYK roster? Knox and Lee are injured...Hezonja? He is athletic but don't think he is any good as a defender. So if Luka can operate at free will, it's game over. Unless Wes takes over LOL

Luka went off against the Spurs but it didn't matter in the end. I don't know why they start games so bad.

Because RC’s plan A, DSJ as main facilitator, doesn’t work at the moment.

Luka will score 30 on the Lakers next time. He wone be like a little kid when he sees LeBron anymore and will know what to expect from the defenders. This game was the first time he faced a prepared NBA defense and he adapted after only one half.

But todays game is a must win. I also dont see who on the Knicks can guard him, especially if Carlisle plays Luka at PG more often during the game, not just when it gets tight in the final minutes.

Dotson will be guarding him in all likelihood. He’s one of our better defenders whose been guarding opposing 3s with this lineup. Knox or Hezonja would have been a disaster guarding him lol

Well Mavs themselves played an amazing D on Luka in the 1st Q again and then they went on an 8-0 run when he took over the offense, what a shocker. 2bad some of his long shots didn't go in. Hopefully RC understands by now that DSJ is trash at creating offense...

DSJ is not a PG and the Mavs need to use him like they used Monte Ellis. He’s not good at commanding an offensive unit and is better at attacking and playing off the ball.

Honestly, Luka doesn't seem to enjoy this team today. He is not in it.

I can't blame him one bit. It is not basketball smarts that brought Dennis into the NBA. Carlisle might lose the team at some point.
