Thespianoid wrote:one thing about Luka's defense I gotta point out

he's often caught in no man's land kinda like Westbrook, where he's sinking too far as he prepares to get the board and push in transition

and it often ends in him being too far from his man to contest the spot up 3 off a kickout, or gets beat as he tries to recover/closeout

You can see he doesn't have the stamina to play extended minutes on both sides of the floor. He is trying hard to conserve energy. Will be interesting to see in the off season how much stronger he'll get and hopefully be able to play 40 mins if needed in tough games.

Maxi on Durant is a pretty bad matchup. Maxi's more a 4/5 than the 3/4 that Durant is

yeah, hopefully an extended offseason at P3 and with the Mavs S&C will help get some burst back in his legs/feet and improve his stamina/conditioning.

I dunno if you remember but in 16/17 with Real he was much quicker/bouncier as he was leaner. Gotta get back to that, while continuing to improve strength.

Brunson is a much better basketball player than DSJ

and the age/experience difference isn't that much honestly. 1 year 3 months in age and probably just 1-2 in experience

Loved that step back 3 by Luka right over Durant at the end of the 3rd quarter

gonna need DFS to close the game on Durant rather than Maxi for better matchup purposes

I’d rather have Broekhoff and Mejri in the game than Dwight Powell

Guys stop hating on Powell .. he's a high energy athletic guy who does the dirty work. But he should stop shooting 3pts, it's absurd that he still takes them after all the bricks this season.

Powell is so dumb... he should recognize that he is a very bad 3 point shooter... he should stop but his bean brain does not allow him...

a bit concerned Rick is gonna try and close with Maxi on Durant

has to be DFS, hopefully he's just buying him some rest

Good job Carlisle, reward the hot hand Devin Harris by a benching. Hopefully that doesn’t come back to bite us.Stop watch substitution is more important than letting a hot player close the game.
