It should be close. Wright could be their starting pg next season, Rabb could be their Powell, and Holiday/Dorsey are very hot/cold.

The Grizz want to win and give up their pick this year unless its Zion as they will be even worse next year.

Luka Doncic (thigh), Jalen Brunson (rest) and Dwight Powell (rest) have been ruled out of Friday's game vs. Memphis.

After all this obvious tanking, it will be quite embarrassing if Mavs end up at the 6th spot and then they'll have to give up the pick to ATL.

Was Kostas injuried or something? I expected at least 25 mins from him tonight. No clue why he doesn't get a chance.

I'm actually "slightly" more concerned with the fact that I'd expect the Mavs to win a few more games/beat certain teams. It likely won't matter in the future, but this game as an example... it was a pretty brutal loss, down by 20 at one point after jumping to an early lead. Similar teams with the same caliber of talent have been playing better/harder.

"We just didn't play hard," Mavs coach Rick Carlisle said. "It was the same way the last time we played these guys. They play with more force."

Forward Kostas Antetokounmpo is limited by knee soreness and was not available, Carlisle said.

Kostas looked very out of place in the short cameos he had this year, but give him the chance in the remaining games if he's ok.

If the Hawks end up benefiting from the Mavs "tank", so be it. This is the best thing for the Mavs to do at this point --- 'giving rest' to players and 'giving other players a better look'.

All will be forgotten not long for now and I for one do not care if the Hawks pick 6th or 9th.

How impressed are you with the Mavs management? Hard to believe they had the nerve to sit these guys out for this game. Love it actually.

Stinks cuz in another tank battle the Pels lost another one to the Suns in OT. Spalding got alot of run.

I was actually very surprised that they let Spalding go. He was showing a lot of promise in summer league.

"Mittelfranken grüßt Dirk Nowitzki" ==> "Central Franconia greets Dirk."

Würzburg is located in Franconia which is a district within Bavaria. These people must live close to Würzburg.

Re the management: yes, that showed some guts. As always I wish we would have done more more tank-wise earlier (why are Devin/Salah playing every night? Plugging in Kostas/Macon might have made a differenct against PHI/GS/OKC) but overally we can still get the job done. 6th best odds would give us a fighting chance. Definetely deserves some praise.
