Not signing Couzins

Guys, I want to hear your opinions about it. But I think Dallas not signing Couzins to a one year deal worth of around 10 mils is the biggest mistake they did in this free agency.


I know his personality is questioned, his ability as well, his health...

And I ll be the first one to admit it next year if I am wrong but I believe we made a big mistake not signing this guy, when we had the means to do so...

Also why do you think we didnt? My bet is on our coach

I’m fine with it. Kleber and Boban are more than sufficient backups to KP so we really didn’t need more help there anyway.

I’m more upset that they didn’t at least try with Patrick Beverley

We could have considered signing him but we dont know whatever Cousins was thinking about. It was said that he initially wanted to go somewhere but AD convinced him otherwise.

To sign a free agent, said free agent has to have the willingness to come here first.

30 teams did not want to sign Cousins to a decent contract. He looked slow and old in the finals. I am fine with the decision.

I wanted us to sign him in hopes to move him at the trade deadline to a contender for a pick(s)/expiring.

If we are over the cap then may not do us any good besides we have Lee and his expiring contract already

I'm glad we didn't sign him. Don't want him near Luka and KP no matter the on court benefits.

I'm fine with the Mavs not signing Cousins. I don't think he would have meshed well with the rest of the team.
