Wish they had beaten Miami. Just adds another layer of motivation and meaning to this game for them.

Luka will travel but unlikely to play. Both Curry and Wright are questionable. :banghead:

Luka really needs to rest... honestly, I’d probably rest KP as well if it were up to me... Mavs don’t have much of a chance in this one anyway

We said the same before the last few games and were quite competitive.

KP has looked a lot better, interested to see how he does against Embiid and Horford

I still think he will return against SAS. So he won't play against TOR who are dealing with a lot of injuries as well. Hopefully Mavs can win that game, specially if they lose tonight. It's important not to fall too far behind top teams in the standings now.

Especially since it looks like Houston and Denver are back on track.

I don't expect the Mavs to win tonight since the Sixers have all their players and a good home record but I think the Mavs can benefit as a team from playing competitively. KP in particular should try and get his mojo back while Luka is out.

You'd be inclined to think that because they're 14-1 at home, but just last Friday they only beat the Pelicans by 7 at home, after getting up by 14 points in the 1st quarter. Sixers had everybody, but Al Horford that night.

Sixers don't have much of a bench presence, at all. Mike Scott, the rookie Thybulle, and Forkmaz are about it.

I think the Mavs' depth has a chance to keep them in this game tonight & maybe pull out a W. Philly can be really up & down when one of their starters has an off game.

That Philly defense is most serious. So, the Mavs are going to have to bring it if they're gonna have a legit shot tonight. No silly late game TOs or ill-advised shots. The margin for error won't be there tonight.

Meh, he has to take some of those wide open shots. Usually he makes at least 1 on of them. Philly are not leaving a lot of room anyway. Problem is, KP is not working hard enough to get himself open, so can't really blame Powell if he is this open all the time.

Watching Powell shoot jumpers off the dribble is as painful as trying to have a fact based discussion with Pinky.

The mavs had a fairly easy schedule early in the season. With Houston and Denver back on track, it seems the Mavs will settle for around 6th in the West when the dust has settled.
