Sad to hear about a car wreck especially if the accusation of drunk driving is true.
Very reckless for the other motorist to be driving under the influence.

I can't say I'm much of a Parsons fan anymore but it would be quite the story if he managed to make a recovery and play in the NBA again.

This can happen to anyone and this situation is simply tragic every time and this always angers me to hear how stupid someone is when they get behind a wheel and drink to such an extent they lose control and harm someone else.

The best thing to remember and be thankful for is that he survived and that is certainly a lot more important than his career.

You can always find something else to do for a living and he should be pretty well off if he was smart with all the money he got paid

I bet he would be a natural for getting on TV and doing games.

I think his career earning are around 130 million. You don't have to be THAT smart with the money to be financially secure with 130 million. He'll be fine.

When I first read that, it said "Parsons career might be over", and it's a little embarrassing to admit, but the truth is my first thought was "what career? It's been over for about 3-4 years already now".

But, then when you read the comments in those tweets. DAMN. I really hope that's just his attorney propping up the injuries for settlement reasons. Parsons always seemed like a fun-loving, happy-go-lucky dude. Hate to hear his life could be altered so dramatically & traumatically so early in his life

I always wanted him to turn his career around. It is tough when injuries keep you from doing something you love. The Mavs were smart though to not match that four year deal after Parsons had micro fracture. He set the Grizzlies organization back.
