Things change fast. Everyone but Luka has gone cold right now.He has actually made good passes, but no one is hitting.

Did he? I left 5 minute. 13pts in a row now for OKC.

Why take a TO when you are on a run?

No clue. People on reddit also making the same questions. Here is the quote.

"Why the **** did Rick call a timeout when we were rolling. Now they're on an 8-0 run

Edit: 11-0. Eleven **** nothing. After getting out to a 17 point lead AND have the ball, Rick calls a timeout. Now instead of widening the gap we've blown yet another sizeable lead."

And someone suggested it was something wrong with THJ, but he was running just fine so don't know.

Hopefully WCS will cut into Jackson and Maxi’s minutes more than anyone. They are trash

I don’t think anyone is saying that he shouldn’t take 3pters. Just that taking 7-8 would be better than 11-12 until he cant shoot 35% + consistently.

I’m sure you know what means in points those 3% points more with 3 shots more? Look, Luka’s usage is 37%, he cannot always attack the rim or find open player. He really has few too difficult shots, but his step backs mostly look pretty good even when he misses, so saying he cannot shoot more than 7 3s is just silly.

Some people on Mavs reddit forums called him a clone of Ben Simmons for that. The overreactions on this guy are insane. Imagine being so young and being tasked to carry an NBA team into the playoffs in an insanely star stacked conference, and on top of that, already being one of the best players in the league. Just blows my mind how people have zero patience with player development and understanding that young players will have up and down periods during the season. Criticizing missed FT's or blown easy layups are fair and i agree with that but everything else is just maturity, conditioning and well, he simply has a lot of growing up to do.

I really wish Carlisle wouldn’t play Luka for almost entire quarters. IMO, that’s at least part of the reason he’s often so gassed in the 4th.

It’s silly because Luka is the only guy, who can take a shot whenever he wants. We have seen how has finished last possession in Q3 with THJ. You wanted or not Luka will always shoot the vast majority of Mavs’ difficult shots.

Probably a lot of it is due to the B2B tomorrow + double digit lead if I had to guess.

I’m going to start by saying that I haven’t watched THIS game yet, but I’ve noticed that sometimes the missed layups(from any of the players) are really just bad luck. I think it might have been last game when a lot of them were in and out.

They got the win, but considering this was OKC without Chris Paul and and once again they had trouble closing the game, scoring just 19 in the 4th... I can't say I'm impressed. They were lucky OKC wasn't that good and just managed to score 20.

Doncic once again had a subpar game in terms of efficiency with .535%, keeping the trend active. I thought he was getting out of it, but had another bad 4th quarter, which is now the norm... He finished the game by going 1/8. This team is going to need him to be able to finish games, something he's rarely able to do.

Delon was great tonight. His best game in a while.

Good road win over a team that had a five game winning streak.
