Willie Cauley Stein
Throw him out there to rough up Kelly Oubre

Rims
Pray for them. Rubio will be in the house tonight. Hopefully Luka doesn't contribute to the brick laying.

Phoenix
They have won more than expected against Dallas in recent years. Can't take them lightly.

Bridges is an intriguing player and should provide an interesting matchup vs Luka.

Is it too early for the tank to get rolling in Phoenix again? Even off a B2B, the Mavs should win this.

Then again, it’s the Mavs so I cant throw any scenario out. It’ll be good to see WCS out there

B2B so I guess we can assume KP doesn't play especially after the whole knee soreness situation.
Mavs have another B2B after this with Rockets/Hawks on Jan 31 and Feb 1. BS schedule making to do this if you ask me - it just feels like the Mavs have had a lot of consecutive B2B even though I haven't looked at other teams schedules.

WCS will definitely play this one if KP sits out.

Phoenix has a great chance of winning. People who don't follow them won't probably understand but if Booker and Oubre get rolling, PHX will be in this until the end. Mavs are on a B2B and they rarely play decent in these type of games. Luka is basically the "joker" here. If he can stop bricking layups and continues to hit 3pt shots at 40% then in my opinion, Mavs will win. But like i said, it's B2B and i don't trust him to play great.

Really looking forward to see WCS tonight. Also hope Luka can find his range from 3. Personally I think he takes too many difficult 3 pointers. I would like to see his assists come back up a bit as it has been 6 games since he had double digit assists. Of course he is awesome but sometimes he tries to do too much. He is still so young that he needs to continue to learn.

Uhhh ... wow.
Did not see this coming. I suspect we'll probably only see 25-30 minutes of KP.
Weird thing ... on the injury report they list his left knee (his ACL knee) not his right (sore knee) so we'll see how he holds up. Honestly, it seems a little irresponsible to me - I really just think KP is not in game shape after having spend a year and a half off.

Why do the refs hate that Mavs so much? It’s in Dallas and they don’t call any contacts on the Mavs, but are calling a foul against KP when Ayton pushed him!

If we get this kind of effort for 3 more quarters, we will lose by 30 easily

Bad TOs, 3pts aren’t falling, WCS missing a dunk...

Not much is going well.

Some of those TOs by Luka were really ugly. He was so good at taking care of the ball yesterday.

I still don't get why Porzingis is so goddamn weak attacking the rim. If he gets contested the slightest he seemingly just throws the ball on the backboard and hope for a prayer. Most of the times it bounces of without even hitting the rim. Really no control or finesse finishing at or close to the rim if contested. Still a winable game needs to do a better job on D.

Frustrates me too, he's so good at getting there but then it's as you described. It doesn't help watching Luka in comparison who is elite at finishing through contact and with some fancy bounce off the glass. Maybe Luka can teach him some finishing moves...
