This is actually an exciting news. Maybe, just maybe, Mavs can find a way to use him as a proper wing defender. A this point, i don't care about his offense, Mavs need players that can at least guard their shadow. Hoping for the best.

Im not gonna hate this move as just like WCS its not costing the Mvs anything. Come in play D and MAYBE make a corner 3.

Exactly. Knowing Rick, if MGK turns out to be OK, he'll use him as a center anyway. If MGK can potentially develop a shot like DFS did in just 1 off season, then even better. DFS was basically no one last year but even though he is not a great wing defender, he's still someone that you can use as a 3&D player. That's why i hope they can develop MGK into "something" that will work for them.

MKG is a defender the Mavs can definitely use in the playoffs. Dont even score. Just chase down his assignment all game. That 6th or 7th spot means we're matched up against one of the 2 LA teams. DFS is gonna need help guarding Lebron or Kawhi.

Giannis is only +5 tonight. All of MIL's other starters are +23 to +32. They should really think about moving Giannis to the bench & find someone with a better plus/minus to help the starters.
