Good win and exciting game.
New Orleans held their own and both teams played with a lot of history.

It was a really ugly game I felt. This team is capable of playing better/cleaner, but the game had a different feel and they got caught up in the whole thing. To add to that, they had Lonzo Ball hitting 3s all game and then Frank Jackson randomly going off. Sucks that they had the game won and again Fts hurt them.

With all that said, OT ended up being a good thing because they made some good plays after a terrible start to ot. This goes down as the 1st win all year when trailing in the last 4 mins.

Looking ahead, same old thing, Luka will have to find a way to control his emotions better --- he gets too down on himself. It is too easy to just say 'injuries'. It's not really a "physical" thing, as he did some of his best work very late in the game.

It's been messy with the timing being off and doubles and traps from other teams (chi mia). Even yesterday it wasn't very clean at times. But it was cool to see a clutch 3 go in and then still creating and passing the ball for good shots for others.

A not so sharp, nursing hand injury Luka can put up 30-17-10... mind blowing.

The very first time this season that the Mavericks won a game when they trailed at one point in the last four minutes. Hopefully, this will start bringing the team some confidence in closing games.

I am super happy about the win
I am super happy KP is firing on "all" cylinders
I am super happy Maxi was doing a great job for most of the game on the defensive end
I am super happy players like Curry, THJ do their job

But I will say this. We won this and people are singing glory songs for Luka and praising the Mavs but I see a different picture. I see a swingy team, Luka who is exhausted and gassed by the end of regular time.
I see Luka still making a bunch of not so smart plays and making TOs, frustrated with the refs, with the way game goes
I see Dallas not controlling this game and going to OT again at which point I was 90% we were going to lose.

Thank god for a miracle and great last 2 minutes by Luka. However, I think this could easily have been a loss and ZION would be getting the praise and Dallas the gloomy mood.

This team was playing better at the start of the season. Luka was playing better. So while I am happy with the win I ain't happy with the performance.

I think it's pretty terrifying that a lethargic, lackadaisical, unengaged, and injured Luka can casually put up 30/17/10. And Porzingis has just been an animal. Curry has been shooting the lights out too. I still think they're too young and inexperienced, but if something clicks, this team is a dark horse in the playoffs for sure.

I don't think the Mavs have the defense to complete in the post season, but it could be fun if Luka's ankle and thumb can heal by then. I agree that KP has been in beastmode lately. He has turned things on since around February.

the donald, always unpopular, did worse in EVERY state in 2020. and by a greater margin in red states! 50 independently-run elections, none of them rigged
