If I had a say in the Mavs off season I pick the best available wing at 10 (Whitmore, or Hendricks), trade for Grant Williams (or Bruce Brown), and sign Jakob Poeltl.

Ok you found me ... I've been talking about Holmes for 2 years
He is a Dwight Powell who can play basketball, he is still 29yo. Not bad.

Bertans contract was very useful like i said for months.

I'm not so high on Lively like a lot of you but i've seen not so much of him. I pray he will be next TC and not next WCS...

OMP is an intruguing prospect.... Maybe too raw but with potential.

Those are not moves for win now, we need another good year from Hardy&Green plus some signals from the rookies.

We need another wing defender.... both Bowen or Grant are good.

That’s 11. I’m assuming Powell comes back for the min he makes 12. Dallas uses the MLE on a big wing 4, Grant Williams, Harrison Barnes, or Keita Bates Diop would be 13. I think Bullock currently gets the nod over Green but if Green improves like he’s done in years past I think he could beat out Bullock fast.

I think the priories right now should be:
1. Get a good 3 and D forward/wing with the MLE
2. Dump McGee anywhere you can
3. Look into upgrading Bullock or THJ with the 2027 1st
4. Look into a potential 1 year rental on a center while we get Lively up to speed.

[Stein] There have been reports of 41Dirk41 driving up and down Dallas area looking for Nico and Cuban shouting threats. Inside source reports that this person is angry at Mavs front office for trading Davis Bertans aka Latvian Laser, which he loved and valued so much.
Also separate reports are saying 41Dirk41 is apparently going home after few hours because Mavs front office heard of the news and got worried. They decided to quickly make a trade for Holmes and another draft pick in apparent attempt to calm this person down. Sources say, 41Dirk41 wanted Holmes on the Mavs for years. More to come.
