Wouldn't mind Luka taking 40-45 shots tonight. Unfortunately the refs don't call fouls on him, so don't count on him getting more than a couple of FT's in the 2nd half.

1/9 and 2/4 FT, + 2 TOs? The only shot he made was him alone at the basket. He's not even efficient anymore. Disappointed, I was getting hyped for his best game in his career.

Luka did play an overall great game, but he's 6/18 from 2, which is very weird for him. Usually, if he's 12/29, it's because he's 3/12 from 3 or something like that. Even if we consider that he was fouled on 2-3 of those shots, 6/18 is still uncharacteristic.

It's funny how 36/16/15 should be a great game, but when someone has 30 points in the first, 36 points just doesn't feel that great anymore.

So probably another loss tomorrow? When are we getting back some guys?

Dude you need to understand that he is not in LBJ shape. He was gassed already at the half. They made 8 long shots, Luka had 6 of those. They had 18 TOTAL assists to this point, Luka had 15 of those. He gave his all.

Wes Iwundu and Green should not be starting NBA games. With KP working his way back to shape thats one of the worst Mavs starting line ups I can remember.

Luka gassed in the second half. He's getting fitter slowly, but surely, though.

I perfectly understand everything you are saying. When someone has 30 points in the first half, you still have your expectations higher than 36 points, rightfully so. He still played a great overall game. He just was out of this world in the 2nd quarter.

That was a monster triple double. 16 assists and 15 rebounds. Don’t blame Luka. Sure, his shooting dipped in the second half, but he was playing with scrubs out there.
