Let's hope Mitchell plays.
Donovan Mitchell (concussion protocol) is questionable to play on Friday against the Mavericks.
Mitchell was placed in concussion protocol on Wednesday. Joe Ingles started in his place and Utah won its first game against the Mavs. He scored 21 points on 7-of-13 shooting with eight assists. Jordan Clarkson also played 31 minutes, scoring 31 points on 11-of-21 shooting with seven rebounds, a block, and a steal off the bench.

I expect the Mavs to put on a much better showing in this game. I would not be surprised if the Mavs blew the Jazz out in this one.

It's possible if they shoot 40% from 3pt range and simply outscore them.

The defense will likely be better in this game too for the Mavs.

I’m assuming Mitchell and Favors will be back in this one so that’s a bummer... Not that they need them.
Jazz will win in blowout fashion

I really dont know what to expect from the Mavs from. Hard to see them play worse than last time, but they still may lose.

This team still isn't at full strength because of KP being out until January and losing four players to COVID, but I am getting impatient. This team should be slightly better than last year's team.

I have been impatient but have tried to not show it on Realgm. I'm real tired of reading articles mention high caliber trade targets when we don't have assets to acquire them.
I will hope for the best and also wait to see which players get bought out.

Man it's getting really edgy when even the calmest and most reasonable people are starting to show frustration. I think expectations for this team before the season were way too high. Luka even warned everyone that COVID could cause serious problems and Mavs were actually hit the most. Though I still have no clue why league forced them to play with Gleague players and rookies, while other teams had a lot of their games postponed.

It’s a logical response. Team is losing, no first rounder, and everyone that plays (minus Luka) has been extremely underwhelming or wildly inconsistent.

KP better show up today. He was pathetic last game - and the same against Denver. He is rusty on offense, that's not my biggest concern. Biggest concern is his defense - supposed to be one of the better defenders, but honestly he is one of the worst. He can't defend bigs in the post, don't contest 3-point shots and are getting blown by every damn time on the perimeter. Below average rebounder, doesn't use his size and can't box out.

You can tell DFS doesn’t have his legs under him yet. All his shots are flat and he doesn’t look like he has that spring yet. He’s slow getting back up.
And KP is right, they don’t have good chemistry yet.

We badly need a dead-eye shooter. Spamming 3s while being dead last in the league in 3pt% is painful to watch.
Redick has been pretty bad this season but i hope the team is inquiring about him.

Great start so far!!! The team finally waking up!!! No bad turn overs. Hitting opened 3s at a decent rate!
Sorry, just trying to see what it feels like to write something like that. It's been a while...

Maybe they should ask the Sixers if they could give back Curry... The team just had maybe the best dead-eye shooter in the league and it was a need?
