I think FO will think long and hard about this, this keeps them below tax even with resigning Brunson+DFS, and they'll have 20+ million in expiring to trade for a 2nd star.

We're not exactly running any treadmills in the last weeks. And that trade suggests a major downgrade from the current talent with a whiff of a chance of signing another major player - of which the Mavs have a fantastic track record...

Moving Porzingis seems highly unlikely. I would say THJ, DFS, Powell, or maybe even Brunson have a higher chance of getting moved. I think the idea is for them to get Turner, start him at center as a defensive anchor, and move THJ’s contract so they can resign Brunson in the offseason.

I don't believe KP is moved. While his contract is high it will hinder a trade from happening and we won't receive proper value for him.

Being stuck with KP isn't so bad. He's has been the escape goat to some degree and it hasn't always been warranted.

I think KP's happier with Kidd than he was with Carlisle.
