Dallas’ 38-game slate after All-Star break includes 10 sets of back-to-backs in 67 days and eight national TV appearances.

Until March 24th it's a brutal schedule, if they keep floating around 50% by then, there's a great chance of making the PO

The Mavs only got 2 games postponed right? Then how come they have so many back to backs?

The Mavs maybe have had the thoughest schedule so far and now they're one of the teams that will play the most games to end the season... Tough year.

I didnt do this yet

Here it goes

Dallas vs Indiana = W
NO vs Dallas = L
OKC vs Dallas = W
Boston vs Dallas = L
New York vs Dallas = L
Washington vs Dallas = W
Dallas vs Utah = L
Houston vs Dallas = W
Dallas vs Bucks = L
Dallas vs San Antonio = W
Dallas vs Philadelphia = L
Memphis vs Dallas = L
Dallas vs New York = L
Dallas vs Sacramento = W
Dallas vs Detroit = W
Dallas vs Lakers = L
Dallas vs Lakers = W
Dallas vs Washington = W
Dallas vs Sacramento = W
Miami vs Dallas = L
Dallas vs Nets = L
Dallas vs Clevelands = L
Cleveland vs Dallas = W
Memphis vs Dallas = W
Dallas vs New Orleans = L
Dallas vs Toronto = L
Minnesota vs Dallas = W

So we are at 23:19
That would put us at: 36:33

I believe that would put Dallas at 9th seed where I would project we would end up. I am also not expecting Dallas to be totally healthy till the end of the season.

The Lakers are falling, and Mavs play them in 4 weeks, right arond the time LeBron is back.

Let us see how well this is aging. If Dallas wins the 8 games I predicted till the end of a season that is a score of 38 wins. I think that would be enough for 9th max 8th seed.

So far I have missed a bunch of games in predicting a result. However
- Dallas has lost 6 games so far I predicted 8 losses
- We know how the Memphis game ended
- We know Milwaukee played without Giannis

So all things considered not that far.

Do you really see Dallas losing to Toronto and Cleveland deep in tank season? I don't.
Mavs will lose 3-4 games of what's left and finish with 42-43 wins, seeding will depend on how the Blazers/Grizz do, but it will be 6-8.

Maybe not necessarily now that we have new info on the Toronto situation. But since Dallas is losing such games, yeah sure why not also?

Let us make an update on this:

Dallas vs Indiana = W
NO vs Dallas = L
OKC vs Dallas = W
Boston vs Dallas = L
New York vs Dallas = L
Washington vs Dallas = W
Dallas vs Utah = L
Houston vs Dallas = W
Dallas vs Bucks = L
Dallas vs San Antonio = W
Dallas vs Philadelphia = L
Memphis vs Dallas = L
Dallas vs New York = L
Dallas vs Sacramento = W
Dallas vs Detroit = W
Dallas vs Lakers = L
Dallas vs Lakers = W
Dallas vs Washington = W
Dallas vs Sacramento = W
Miami vs Dallas = L
Dallas vs Nets = L
Dallas vs Clevelands = L
Cleveland vs Dallas = W
Memphis vs Dallas = W
Dallas vs New Orleans = L
Dallas vs Toronto = L
Minnesota vs Dallas = W

So just from these predictions I predicted a record of:
13W/14L
In reality we had up to this point:
18W /9L

So hats off to the guys. That is a 66,66% record and even though the schedule is easier, the games lost were actually like 3x to Sacramento so heh....

In any case I so far predicted this season wrongfully and still dont get it how this team is able to wrap up so many wins. Although one player that has massively impressed me was DFS.
He has evolved and is a level above what he was at the start of the season. He is definitely a LEVEL ABOVE.

3 Kings losses, 1 Rockets and 1 Indiana, OTOH there were some improbable wins (Utah, Nets), and Mavs had no business winning the Memphis game, but still won.
THJ and Powell's resurgence offset KP's defensive woes and missing time.
