This is where the Mavs can really make a move up the standings.

Dame is always awesome, but the Mavs should still be the better team.

Back to back for Portland since they're hosting New Orleans tonight. New Orleans is always a tough matchup for them so I expect Portland to have some jello legs Friday vs us.

Mavs desperately need this win, but it all comes down to whether or not KP doesn’t let smaller defenders like Gary Trent jr affect him again. When/if the Mavs are hitting all cylinders, there’s no reason they can’t beat any team... let’s just see which version actually shows up tomorrow night

Dame absolutely abused KP in PnR in the past couple of games. I think this will be the key again. KP is slowly but surely moving better on defense so i'm hoping he learned something by now.

The Mavs level ranges from bottom playoff/play in team to middle of playoffs pack in the west.
They lost very close games to the Suns and Blazers and if they want establish themselmeves they need to do better, it should start with taking games from the Blazers and start pulling toward the 5th/6th seed.
The blazers are a tough matchup.

It's nice that the Blazers are on a back to back, but McCollum is back. The Pels' collapse two games ago kind of hurt, I was certain the Pels had the game.

Interesting that Dame who is taking 12.5 3s per game is shooting only a little better than Luka.

Mavs are a 3.5 pt favorite.

No excuses, Portland played last night.

And I doubt CJ shoots .188% like he did last night. He made 3 of 16 shots.

Jamie Hudson: Mavericks Injury Report: Willie Caluey-Stein (health and safety protocols), Dorian Finney-Smith (personal reasons), James Johnson (health and safety protocols) and Tyrell Terry (personal reasons) are out for Friday’s game vs. Blazers

Just when WCS started playing better again he's out. Man, Mavs can't catch a break. I already fear before every game that there will be another news of KP's injury or something...

Health and safety protocol scares me.

I know it is wishful thinking, but I would like to see Green get a chance to guard CJ.

Can't do worst than the starters right now, but I don't think RC knows that Green exist. He knew he existed when it came time to take him ahead of Bey.

Jrich playing good defense on Lillard but just like i feared, KP is being abused in PnR again and again. He has to toughen up quickly..

Weird game. I feel like the Blazers are ahead by more than they are right now.

6 ORBD already for the Blazers... McCollum being back hurts, but it would be nice to see some defense from the Mavs.
