DFS is making a big difference in this game.

Took some time, but the Mavs finally got the quarter they needed. Once the Mavs were ahead after the way they've played in the first half, I knew it was only a matter of time. The Wizards were just not good enough.

Now Utah!!!! Let's see what this team is made of.

Mavs are still undefeated when Melli plays :droop: :droop: :droop:

Same as last season if i remember correctly. Went ice-cold late in the season from the FT line.

Same as his rookie season. It's the same story every year so far. He shot .656 in the playoffs last year. But yeah, not a problem...

I just hope he works with Redick on his FTs. There's something wrong with his approach.

Mavs needed a backup 4 desperately, Melli looks like a great option, if Reddick can give solid 20 minutes, we'll all look like idiots criticizing the trade.

very ugly 4 straight wins, but 4 straight wins nonetheless.

Heh, i actually liked the trade and was happy they did it. Iwundu and Johnson made no sense on this team, plus JJ was expiring. So Mavs got something out of nothing basically.

Melli is good player and it shows. I didn't doubt about him. I'm not that optimistic about Reddick. Old, injured and not wanting to be here is not exactly great combination.

Having Melli here reminds me a lot of when Peja was here. I just assume every shot he puts up is going in.

Hell of a trade

Good win.

Now, tough week coming up. Utah, houston...., bucks, spurs, philly. 2 of 5 seems realistic, but hope for atlest 3 since we usually are good against bucks

Someone explain to me how Luka is so fundamentally sound and can’t hit free throws.

Glad to see Melli contribute. I thought he was involved in the trade to match salaries.

I think he gets worn down because he is having to carry the team on his back.

Ye usually he makes 1st one short, like he know thats how much he should put into it but it just isnt enough. After this sickness its been kinda bad, also managed to airball both 3s and fts. Just think his muscles is tired. Been a long trip too, but now its home, sleep in yojr own bed and no long roadtrips for awhile

Embarrassing shooting from FT might be exactly what he needed. He will need to address this problem next offseason now. I hope.

Not a good game at all, but a W is a W... Nic Melli need more touches on offensive.

Green is an athletic freak but can't shoot, at least he has hustle.

Tim is a killer, perfect 6man for a contender.

Washington is trash btw.

Maybe he should shoot step-back FTs :)

Melli seems to be considered a shooter but he has never hit more than 33.5% in his NBA career.
In fact he was only about a 20% shooter this year before he became a Mav.
Looked good last night though.

He was shooting his last 4 years in Euroleague and in domestic competition over 40% for 3. Around 270 games sample size.
