Richardson looks like dogs*** tonight

Hardly anyone can hit a basket tonight and Luka also stopped passing the ball now. That's kinda concerning. But they are playing good defense again, so that's something.

Mavs need to wake up.

Why did Luka wait until there was 6 seconds left? He should know they are going to double. Such bad clock management.

There's basketball outside of the NBA, guys. Melli had a very solid career in Europe, he came to the NBA after playing 8 seasons in Europe.

He's a career 37.4% 3PT shooter, 50.7% 2PT and 77% FT in Europe.

I don't think Doncic's passing has been GREAT for a while. He was a special passer in the mold of the greatest passers and for the past few weeks he has looked... good. I really don't know what's up with that. It's not just his assists going down, his potential assists are going down too. I mean, you're not supposed to regress as a passer... so I don't know.

That's fine.

He WAS good. He's NOT good anymore.

He's on the wrong side of 30 who will on occasion do some really good stuff.

I insist, he hasn't been good other than 3PT shooting over the past few weeks.

Assists are down, defense is come and go, TOs are up, FT has been pretty poor...

What an embarrassment losing to the worst team in the league. Rick Carlisle is such a hack.

In the past 2 months Mavs are a top5 team in the NBA, offense and defense. Whatever Luka and Rick are doing, it was working. But it also true that Luka went balistic from the long range and carried a lot of games.

But issue is in the lineups. Luka is now often on the floor with guys like Burke, Powell, Green or even Melli who is a bad finisher. KP and WCS missing games also didn't help. Everything needs to be taken in to context.

Melli is agile and seems to be trying to do the right things. But he just can't seem to complete the play. He is not an adequate NBA player right now. Maybe he can get better, but this has been a problem for him before the Mavs.

He is not the reason the Mavs are losing tonight. But if they are going to play a guy that gives them so little, I would rather Bey get those minutes.
