Luka needs to get with Dirk and his shooting coach when it comes to free throws. It makes absolutely zero sense that a play who is as fundamentally sound as he has misses so many freebies.

Jrich has absolutely no idea what to do with the ball once he gets it. And defensive effort from the 1st Q is completely gone from everyone. They're just letting Wizards do whatever they want.

The Mavs can't get any easy shots anymore while the Wizards can, that's the difference.

The Wizards found a way to contain Luka in the past 10-11 minutes, while the Mavs didn't find a way to contain Westbrook. 2pts on 2 shots for Luka in 7 minutes in the 3rd... Finished last 4 minutes of the 2nd quarter 0/3 and 2/4 from the FT. That;s 4pts in 11 minutes after scoring 18 in 15 minutes.

Luka will probably sign with the Mavs because they can offer him five years and more money. After that, he’s gone if they can’t get him any help. He has no incentive to stick around if he wants to win. The roster is just bad. There’s not another player on this team that is consistent. Wildly uneven performances from the starters to the bench.

Sure, Maxi is good on defense. But if he’s only going to be a spot up shooter who attempts five or six shots a game then he must go. Most teams realize he’s not a threat unless he manages to get wide open.

Insane numbers for Luka 31/12/20 and they still barely won. Luckily DFS has insanely improved his game while Jrich and KP just keep going backwards. Much needed win regardless.
