The team will likely be looking at minor trades or buyouts

Thad Young
Satoransky
Favors
Ross
Gary Harris
Bryant or Harrell
Eric Gordon
Bagley
Hield
Dragic

I'm sure I'm missing some but until they have more expiring contracts, picks, or young tradable players continuing to upgrade slightly around the edges is probably the best they can do.

The amount of times we've passed on pursuing talent blows my mind. Spencer possibly wasn't a good fit for us, but overall, Cuban has failed us, and I hope more people focus on him.

I've been a huge supporter of Cubes from the beginning, but I'm starting to come round to your viewpoint here. The 00's were good, 2011 amazing, but each year since has been pretty disappointing, outside of the Luka draft.
The exciting times was due to Dirk and the roster that was built for regular season success. Those rosters seemed to be designed to lure the crowd to American Airlines and to fill the seats. The rosters never had elite talent or had been built for postseason success.

Tyson Chandler was the missing piece to a championship team and every player on the roster stepped up. When Tyson had issues with passing his physical with OKC, we knew on this board at the time we needed him, and that the risk was still worth it. It was a magical playoff run. Cuban opted not to pay Tyson $20m per season going forward but pays a roster full of lames now.

Keep that thought close to home with Luka and Dallas. New Orleans isn't the only team that will have problems because we eventually could too.

Zion will receive max money like Luka did too.

I would add some names to your list that I find interesting .. (I'm not sure of availability) .. but they shouldn't be very expensive ..
Campazzo .. (if Hyland gets minutes and close to getting back Murray) ...
Warren for Maxi ..?
A move for Isaak?
Diallo? Slasher and athletic ... a profile that we lack (except for Greem who does not play) ..
Forbes for WCS ..? A pure shooter ..
Brown + 2 for Poelt(TPE)..elite rim protector
1+1=11

Agreed. The only difference with NOLA is they are always dead last in league attendance almost annually. Luka has the benefit of Dallas being the best team in Texas - so far, with Houston and San Antonio being lottery teams soon.

I don't like none of those players, Satoransky and Dragic could be good and Isaac for sure but i doubt Orlando trade him. Thad Young too.
The others are trash like ours guys.

NOLA is not so bad, Luka with Ingram+Valanciunas could be hit the WCF.

Trash or not these are the players the Mavs can target unless some trade happens that no one sees.

Who are the Mavs trading for these 2?

Kings are said to likely move on from Buddy Hield.

I'm not sure how a starting 5 would be able to fit Luka - THJ and Hield at the same time. The defense would be so bad but the spacing theoretically should work. Not to mention who the kings will want for Hield.

Ok but we could have 2 sharpshooters and let play who is hot in that game...not bad.

I've no idea what teams like NOP and Memphis are waiting for if Hield is indeed available, I'd also try to make a run at him with Powell + Green + Burke + 2 2nds.

We need a good run until ASG and be aggressive to offer all our players in the trade market...but i aware that at this point Cuban overvalues our guys like years before...we are done. OMG.

I think he's just being cheap, he hasn't spent in a decade, this is not the same Cuban of 2000-2010.

Yes exactly... But our time is now, we will never find another Doncic so easily.

I told you that Gordon could be good for us, a lot points from the bench. A replace when THJ is cold.

I don't like Brunson very much but he is a baller...It will be a tough decision at the end of the season.

His advanced stats across PGs had him near the top.of.the pile.in just about every category last year.

He's limited, but also a very, very smart player. Ideal first guard off the bench or 5th starter. Kind of guy every team could use.
