Avery Johnson (2005-2008). Brought defensive toughness. Took team to the finals for the first time.

Rick. He got us the chip and he's widely regarded as one of the best coaches in the league for the decade or so.
That Avery RS winning record looking back is amazing though.

I voted Rick Carlisle.
He contributed to us winning a championship because I never felt like we had a true championship caliber team(s) with any of the Coaches we had. Tyson Chandler was the piece that myself and others on this board wanted at the time as the missing piece that was attainable. Winning was always a team effort once Tyson was added and thankfully Rick lead us to the title.

Johnson's regular reason record was too good. He wore the players down playing too hard in the regular season.
