The Mavericks released guard, Tyrell Terry following Friday's preseason win over Milwaukee, the team announced. 

Terry has not been with the team the entire preseason due to personal reasons, so this is not surprising. He was not a fantasy target either way.

Does anyone know what happened with Terry? I hope the dude is right mentally, but that ended up being a complete waste of a draft pick. He ended up being away from the team more than he was with the team so it was impossible to evaluate how good he actually is.

Sucks for him, he has tons of potential, but showed nothing, and was absent for too long.
He was already paid a lot (for a normal person), he should take it, straighten his personal stuff and make another run in the US or Europe.
I was surprised both Hunt and Jones got cut.
Burke has a phoenix type career, each you think its dead it rises from the ashes.

No surprises there.
Hunt has ridiculous athleticism but too raw for us now.
Carlick could make it on a team but this isn't the right team imo.
Terry obviously has some issues that I hope he can get through. Seems like a really good dude.

I know people are down on Burke and he isn't one of my favorites but he is a perfect insurance player if Luka, Brunson or THJ go down for any length of time because he can score.
Brown is unproven, Green, Frank and DFS are not natural scorers, Bullock might be able to pick up some slack but still an unknown.
Burke, like him or not, can come in and score if one of our legit scorers go down.

I kinda hope they keep him because we are definitely in win-now mode now and he has proven he can take on a bigger role when needed.

I am very surprised that Avery Bradley gets cut by GSW.

Who are the next two? McLauhglin and Brown?

I haven't watched much of the preseason. It's just based on team chemistry and having veterans on the bench.

I'm not knowledgeable about two-way contracts and I thought that if Eugene officially stayed with the team, they had to make room for him. I'm expecting Mclaughlin to go to the G league.

Burke and RC didn't workout.
Maybe Jason Kidd and Burke will have a good relationship.

This kid shows nothing at all. I am not impressed compared to Jones and Hunt. I believe some prospects will be released very soon. Surely, the Mavs could pick up one.

told you guys it was Terry. That's why I wanted to trade him, lol.
