Preseason Analysis: What/Who Stood Out?
A lot of things stood out for me.
KP looks more comfortable physically, athletically, and with his role. He played good defense against the Clippers too.
Boban is still effective in limited minutes, while Moses Brown is obviously not up to that level just yet, but he can be effective too.
Josh Green looks like he has improved
I like Sterling Brown's passion
Tyrell Terry deserved to be waived, but I hope he comes back on a Two-Way deal
I like that THJ has continued where he left off, and that's with attacking the rim, pulling up for mid-range Js (as opposed to just trying to shoot the 3), and he looks more committed to defense.
I like the energy Frankie brings, but that jump shot needs some work.
Overall, I'm buying almost everything that Kidd has said about this team. He wants them to become less reliant on the 3 ball and play more like the team did in 2010-2011, but of course, with Luka and KP instead of Dirk and JET.
On the whole, I'm excited and optimistic.
