No it’s not. The Mavs are 3-1 with 78 more games to play. This is about as far away from a “must win” game as you can get.

That's the starting lineup i'd go with. First sub would be THJ for Brunson. Brunson in the starting lineup to cure our miserable slow starts.

"Must win" obviously in a figurative sense, would be a shame lose against Denver without their 2 best players.

They definitely need to avoid the slow start. If Jokic is out and with KP being out again I’d really like to see more Moses Brown.

Let's look at some early numbers

Offensive rating-22nd
Defense rating-11th

The offense clearly needs ALOT of work

2 things people complained about all last year was the defense and losing to bad teams. So far these things have improved in a very small sample size.

Luka starts very slow, offense in RS isn't a problem IMO.

At PO things change obviously, we need another scorer.

Frank, Bullock and healthy Maxi improved a lot our defense. Great.

Were atually quite impressed with frank yesterday. He seems to be all smiles and enjoy life in dallas, could be a steal. And doesnt seem to hesitate shooting that 3. Seems that is the first thing luka hammers into new players, rookies or vets, if u are free u shoot, if u hit it, great, if u miss, so be it. Never see anyone complain at another player for taking shots in mavs.

Would definitely love to see Frank become part of the rotation on a consistent basis.
Brown's absence will give him an opportunity.
