It is almost impossible to "do it right". With 1.1 seconds left on the clock the offensive player will almost immediately go into his shooting motion which means three free throws OR a potential 4-point-play. If you foul just before he gets the ball - 1 extra free throw and you start again.

So: you simply can`t foul with 1.1 seconds left.

Its not hard to wrap a guy up.

I'll say it it again go get Dragic and Favors. These aren't major moves but upgrades that will help. Dragic likely buyout and Favors can go into the TPE. Anything you can do after that is gravy.

I agree. Both very realistic targets that would help this team.

This team could easily get those 2 and trade for 1 more fringe guy. Gonna have to win with depth and match ups.

Losing this game (with Luka and Maxi but without Kawhi) would have been drammatic.
KP was fantastic, despite who wanted him traded... With a better supporting cast he could be the second star.

I agree with ejs78... Dragic and Favors for peanuts and a big trade (Green+Brunson+Powell+ other scrubs and a 1st for a really big 3&D wing) could be good for make a run in PO.

WCS and Powell are awful, they deserve to wash the bathroom of the AAC not playing basketball. Bleah.

So: you simply can`t foul with 1.1 seconds left.

PG had his feet in the 2pt area and was trying to go get a 3, so he was in no position to shoot at the start. You can certainly wrap him. That was bad defense by DFS who was out of position and didn't foul while PG was trying to get to the 3pt line.

Nice to see Luka back, I thought he was out of this game. It's a shame, because the Suns didn't play well, so the Mavs could be 12-5.

If (and It is a big if i know) he can stay healthy we have our second star.
The problem is the supporting cast but we can easily upgrade that because it's very weak.

If KP hurts again we are done.
