Interesting to read the debate about Luka on Slovenian forums. There is more and more criticism of his play, his physical condition professionalism and people questioning if he has the motivation to be the best. All valid criticism in my opinion.

That's why I wanted Dragic very bad, there are maybe 5 people on earth who can tell Luka to clean his act, Dragic is one of them, Dragic also integrated to the NBA the hard way, started at the bottom and climbed up.
Luka should be in better shape, he should take better care oh himself, and he needs to bang on Cuban's table and tell him to cut the crap.

For some of us it's not, because he's washed up, but I don't want to see us give up multiple draft picks for him. He would be a Mavs already if it wasn't the case.

We just have to wait until the trade deadline.

For some of us it's not, because he's washed up, but I don't want to see us give up multiple draft picks for him. He would be a Mavs already if it wasn't the case.

We just have to wait until the trade deadline.

I wouldn't give up picks either and just wait for a buyout if they must. Just don't get he's washed talk from 5 or 6 games.

I started to be concerned last year and this year I'm downright disappointed. I really thought he had great work ethic and now I'm no sure. At this point, it's beating a dead horse. I already scaled down my hope for his career from top 10-15 of all-time to top 25-30. Less expectations will bring less frustration. I maybe expected too much after that 2nd year, like most people.

If he gets in great shape and gets better at shooting, that top 10-15 is still possible though.

I have been concerned about it since before he entered the league. Was hoping he will grow up and realize that he has to take care of his body to be the best and he still has time. But it is frustrating knowing that he has everything available to him to work on his body and just doesnt have the motivation to do it. There is no way a pro athlete can look like he looks with proper training and diet. Every time I look at him he reminds me of a 40 year old rec league player who has a day job, plays with his buddies 2x per week, goes to a local pub after and has 5 beers.
