They got the bench playmaker I wanted, and also got a shooter/stretch 4. Those were minor boxes for them to check, but they need to figure out the big man rotation now. Hopefully Moses Brown clears waivers.

I think they got better. KP's scoring numbers will be simply replaced by that strong 2nd unit. KP doesnt figure to play at all. So his on court value remains to be in question if he cant suit up for 30 games a year.

The question now is do the Mavs sign someone at C for an upgrade.

Probably yes because KP can't play (i hope) but it was a weird trade.

They gotta use Bertans on offense like they use Kleber. If they use Bertans like he's JJ Redick, then I don't like it at all. But if Bertans is used like Kleber on offense, then I think that'll work out really well for the Mavs.

Dinwiddie should be fine leading the 2nd unit, but he's inefficient. However, the Mavs have had success with inefficient players off the bench before. Jerry Stackhouse was one of those players.
