I'm still concerned about the center position if Kleber is going to keep playing like that. The Warriors have no one who can punish them inside.

Not that he's a game changer but whats the status on Chriss? This feels like it's taking longer than it should.

It's going to be tougher against Jokic, Gobert or even Adams/JJJ.

Heh, yeah. GSW tried to match Mavs small ball but they failed. Without Green they are really not the same.

Man... Dinwiddie is out for Brunson's starting job. He makes JB expendable now. You can convert JB into other pieces like a starting center. Tough choice for Nico now.

Haha, I actually lost all hope.

You don’t expect a 26-1 point run in the fourth quarter.

If Dinwiddie keeps this up, the Mavs just need to pick up his buddy Caris Levert and Myles Turner into 2023 and you can call it a team. Jared Dudley is sure working the phones to get Levert. Mavs tried to pick him up this summer but Indy's price was too high. Same with Turner. Pretty sure the Mavs will try again with those two if they miss out on Jokic.

Been saying this for a while now. Dinwiddie is 6'5 amd moves more fluid and is more shifty. Brunson is 6'0 and moves like he's 6'8 270lbs. IMO you can trade him for a Capella or a Myles Turner. A position of need.

Turner earns $20M per year. The exact same momey Brunson is asking for. Sign and trade perhaps?

Lots of overreacting after two great games by Dinwiddie. It will be great though if he continues to play like he has since the ASB. History shows him as an inefficient, high volume shooter. Of course he hasn’t had a guy like Luka to play with.

Why would Indy trade Turner for Brunson when they have both Hali AND Brogdon to play PG? Also ATL has Trae who definitely can't play together with Brunson.

I mean sure both Turner and Capella would be awesome fits here but gotta think about the other team too brotha.

Spencer is overarching, but damn. He can really move. It looks like Brunson lost all of his confidence playing with Spencer. He forced some really hard shots that were never going to go in. It is so obvious that Spencer is the better player and it shows.

Very impressed with Dinwiddie I love the way he attacks the basket The Mavs look like a different team with him. Maxi is another story he looks horrible.

I stopped watching as I thought it was a wrap. Did DInwiddie and Doncic play much together? Was he apart of the 4th quarter defense that was effective? Was Brunson out for much of that time?

The comeback was much more Dinwiddie than it was Doncic, Doncic came in after Dinwiddie brought the Mavs back.
Neither Brunson nor Luka were good, yes, SD was part of the defensive effort, but Dubs missed some wide open shots also (which is always Kidd gamble, pack the lane abuse the passing lanes at the expense of the 3 pt line).
I hate Kidd's usage of Bertans, Bertans was the lead in the Mavs early comeback in the 2nd qtr, his automatic shot helped the offense flow, his defender never leaves him, unlike Maxi/DFS defenders who roam a lot and double Luka, afgter shooting 2 3s and closing the defecit he sat him till the 4th.

Dinwiddie was the main reason for Mavs win. It looks to me that you're slowly but surely becoming the best contra-indicator for grading Mavs moves. ;)

Trading KP looks to be far the best Mavs' move since 2018 draft.

Always happy to be wrong if its a plus for the Mavs. Yet still not wrong about Luka's conditioning and 3 point percentage sadly.

It depends what you're looking at. Luka's February 3 pts% is 41.2 with massive 10 attempts per game. His conditioning is much better too. Last year's playoffs numbers, and playoffs is only thing that really matters, were fantastic too. Mavs with this year's D, and Dinwiddie and Bertans instead of KP, would have blow out Clippers.

I'm afraid of this equation :
No more Covid=no more G-Leaguers= average Brunson.

Bertans and Dinwiddie aren't superstar or fantastic players but they are the perfect example for what means playing in a bad system versus playing in a good system.
