I think putting Booker on Brunson is really smart planning. Brunson cannot outquick, ooutsmart, outmuscle Booker obviously. And it saves tons of energy for Booker offensively as well.

Brunson and/or Dinwiddie must show up, otherwise we have no chance to catch up PHX, not to mention to have a chance to bit them.

This is one of the problems of building a Swiss Army team where there is no clear second star. I’m not convinced Brunson is the answer either. Don’t pay him like a number two if he isn’t a clear number two.

Is anyone playing defense on the team?

Everytime you think the Mavs have something going, the Suns come back. And it's not tough considering the defense.

Relax, the Suns are only on pace to score 140 points.

Brunson is stoppable against some kind of defense. Booker is just the right defender completely eaten Brunson out. Dinwiddle does not play aggressive until the lanes are opened. Dinwiddle, in a forced shot mode, is not efficient afterall. Pheonix close the driving lanes for all. The Mavs lack elite shooters from outside. And Pheonix's supporting cast can better handle pressure due to the Champion experience. Maxi being so effective gets the Mavs some hope. But the whole team needs to pick things up when Luka's crowded. Ayton, while not being very good defensively, can block shots. Pheonix guards are lengthy. Once Luka is stopped in mid-range, Luka is prone to turnover with 3 shot blockers around.

We're lucky to only be down by 13. Absolute carry job by Luka and Maxi, scoring 75% of the points while the rest of the team has not shown up at all.

Again, the Mavs are do-or-die from long range. Let's get Dirk on court.

Phoenix is an expertly coached team where the sum of their parts exceeds anything that makes logical sense.

In this series, I'd rather have Chriss than Powell.

I'd rather have Green / Ntilikina on court in place of Bertans when Maxi is on the floor.

I may even gives Boban some minutes when both Brunson and Dinwiddle ain't effective. Go to the zone and scramble.

It won’t be popular, but the Mavs need a big in the off season. Blow the money on a really good one. I’m not convinced Brunson is that guy. When Luka got injured they just gave him Luka’s role. I’m not convinced he is a complimentary piece. Let THJ come back and sign a big. There is NO rim defense on this team. Let Brunson feast on a terrible Knicks or Pistons team.
