That's game, what a luck bounce after the steal.
**** the refs, that 4th foul on Luka was on Crowder, almost cost the Mavs the game.

Luka is a **** ox, 2 guys holding him back on the offensive board and he still got away before the refs blew the whistle.

Looks easy when Brunson finally shows up and Mavs actually play hard on defense. Survived poor shooting from Doncic, so still a lot of room for improvement. Hopefully they keep up the same energy for the next games.

Great win. I'm concerned about Doncic being short on pretty much all of his misses, including the missed 3 FTs and some shots near the rim. A 3 day rest would have been nice.

CP3 won't turn the ball like that again, the Mavs better be ready and come out strong on Sunday.

It seems like Kidd is "getting tired" of Dinwiddie. He gave Ntilikina 12 minutes and Dinwiddie only 24.

Brunson absolutely killed them with drives and Luka was amazing again with finding open people. Mavs won't get swept, that's the bottom line

Powell played only 10 minutes, but guy left it all out there, Frank full court pressure was great.
There was a short span when Brunson was only ball handler, Suns immediately denied him the inboud pass, DFS brought it up the floor and was stripped mid court, Kidd can't allow that, Suns are merciless team, they see and seize every opportunity.
One more game Mavs, please, just one, make it respectable, make them sweat.

The ref come up big tonight. It is bizarre to see the Mavs win a game allowing high percentage from opposing team. But it is the turnover battle making the difference all night long. And the Mavs get some lucky shots go in to compensate for some wide-opened missed. But what a game. The Mavs just jump into the passing lanes a lot the whole game. CP is just too old for the game. Booker is not as effective passing the ball. It results in a lot of turnovers and fastbreakers. Pheonix's perimeter defense is decent but is nothing spectacular like Boston. It is solvable. I think the Mavs gets a chance pushing up the tempo instead of playing homecourt offense all time. Not initiating offense all game from top of the key is also a great adjustment. While there's not much step back threes, there're not much double / triple team to Luka. It also opens up the lanes for all others. Ntilikina really helps defensively despite being not even a factor offensively. The Mavs build up a comfortable lead after 3 quarters should be the key. Pheonix is too good for close games or with a big lead coming to 4th quarter.

He should, they are investing all of their attention to Luka, and in the Cam Payne minutes it's Mavs opportunity to increase the lead, Brunson played a perfect game today.

Dinwiddie gets the ball and usually has tunnel vision. Stop all ball movement ao I see why.
