Positives
- DFS was 8/12 from 3 and played great defense all game He was the MVP today
- Bullock was 2/5 from 3 playing 39 minutes on a fractured rib. Dude is a warrior
- Maxi played a majority of the center minutes as he should. 11 and 7. Very good performance
- Brunson turned it up in the 2nd half and even made several defensive plays
- Bertans was 4/6 from 3 and was a difference maker when he played.
- Team overall shot 45.5% from 3 and finally held Phoenix to below 40% from 3.

Negatives
- Luka shot terribly. Lot of bad shots. Overall still 27/11/7/4 which is still good but he needs to shoot better. Too many hero ball shots from him today that just clanked.
- Dinwiddie AGAIN 3/10. He showed up in the 1st half then proceeded to disappear and shoot his way out of the game in the 2nd half again. It's getting pathetic at this point.
- Got outrebounded by 7 but the team also got 10 offensive rebounds which was huge

I think I want to add Ntilikina frustrating Devin Booker with defense to the list. Frank really handles Booker well. It could be even better if silly fouls are eliminated as well. Booker settles for jumpers a lot against Ntilikina who clearly can stick with Booker despite the lightning first step. This makes things difficult for Booker to find rhythm.

Were those really bad shots by Luka or just the shots that he normally took but did not go in today. If he were to make 4 out of 11, it would have been a blown out.

Step back 3s are always good shots when it goes in and bad shots when it doesn't. Personally I feel like Luka settles for it too much at times. I'd much prefer Luka have 10 shots in the paint then 10 shots from 3.

My opinion were that it was his usual shots but they just bounced out. Like, how man of the misses were atleast 2 bounces on the rim?

LFG! DFS deserves all the praise today. I remember some posters here saying he wasn't even starter material before. Wonder where they went.

8 pts on 2/5 from 3 is bad enough to revive a thread? In this threads game, Bridges had 6 pts on 0/2 from 3. Didnt see any uproar and he makes 50% more per year.

DFS is a good 3&D player that every team would want (and they did). If you expected more, your expecting too much and looking in the wrong direction.

An average defender yes, his best skill is that he can guard multiple position. An hustle defender with long arm. Not a lock down defender, not even close.

Good enough. I think he's a slightly above average defender but we can agree to disagree.

I 100% agree with your 2nd point though. It's why I've been so hard on Dinwiddie. We need a 3rd player to be a factor and do more then just be a stand still shooter like the 3 you mentioned. It's these times where I miss THJ.
