Just a pathetic display by the Mavs, not just in the 3rd, but in the 2nd as well. They were lucky the Suns were cold in the 3rd.

No energy, no fight. I really dislike the shots that Luka is taking right now. That "bully ball" and post up simply isn't working when that's all you do (that and missing 3s right now). 2 assists?

Dinwiddie is so incredibly bad. You have to laugh at people here hyping him up on such a small sample size.

26 points in the first is so so
20 points in the second q is bad
16 points in third is really bad

Suns 23, 26, 33 points
Defense. Dallas? Defense? :D

Both teams at 30% 3pt shooting
Suns with 50% 2pt shooting, Mavs with 40%

9 steals Suns
2 steals Dallas
6 TOs Suns
14 TOs Dallas

Do I need to say more? :D

Bertans is more important than Dinwiddie because at least Bertans does one thing exceedingly well.

The 5 out is fun when its cooking but when its not..........

They don't even need a stud in the middle just someone who has a somewhat of an offense game.

So Mavs have a team have 7 assists total. CP3 has 8 by himself. Story of the game. Didn't move the ball enough and didn't hit shots.

You lose when you play James Harden type basketball too much.

The Suns showed up after halftime. I am sticking with my original guess which was Suns in 6, but I hope I am wrong. Mavs have been a different team at home.

Well, maybe. When it works, it works. When it doesn’t, it doesn’t. The Mavs have to play perfectly in order to win against the Suns. It was just a bad team effort. The defense wasn’t good. Phoenix got whatever they wanted. In that scenario, the Mavs could have still won but the offense was a mess. So nonexistent defense and a stagnant offense = blowout.

It seems pretty impossible to win in Phoenix unless a legendary Luka performance. And maybe it doesn't enough.

Anyway this one is on Luka, a superstar can't play a quarter like the 3th. No excuses. Crap.

Key team stats to look at:

25% from 3 - this team will never win against almost any team shooting this bad
32 3 pt attempts - series low. We normally shoot 40+ attempts
9 assists - the most eye popping stat. This just can't happen. The ball needs to move more.

Phoenix did a great job with their gameplan defensively. Limit the 3s, let Luka iso. Just like in game 1 and 2. If this is how they're going to defend him, he needs to do a better job of mixing it up and attacking sooner. There's just way too many times the shot clock is dwindling until he makes a move.

Luka can't win a game by himself, not against this Suns.
They are happy to see that first half by him, he can't play all game in that way. It can only be a blowout.

Guys it's sad to see a team without a decent C, ok we are not in the contender years but didn't pick up a C at the deadline was a terrible choice.

Nico and Cuban have put our guys in a great difficult, shame on them.

Looked good in 1st, decent in 2nd, collapse in 3rd. 4th they could have played the bench. In that 3rd quarter, i see mavs starting powell and is like oh god. Next few mins are 0-12 and game is over. We cannot olay powell any mins or we dig holes we cant get out off. Prefer even chriss since atleast he grabs some rebounds. Brunson does a perfect pass, but sloppy hands drops it over the line. He cannot get a single minute more in this series if we gonna have a chance.
