There were a lot of complaints about signing Kidd. People complained about our signings. Most of us also complained about the KP trade.

This team was built around a vision of Luka ball and defense. it worked. They are playing above their skill level as a team. It seems like there is no other team with such a good culture. Players are all in. The staff is likewise. Finley, Harrison, Cuban, and Kidd.

So whatever happens on Sunday, we should be super pleased with how this team is doing.

I think most people here are very happy with the job Kidd did this year. This team made great strides as the season progressed. It seems like the players are buying into Kidd's system. Luka needs some upgrades around him to propel this team to the next step. Look at the Mavs starters:

Luka Doncic - 1st round. 3rd pick.
Jalen Brunson - 2nd Round. 33rd pick.
Reggie Bullock - 1st Round. 25th pick.
Dorian Finney-Smith - Undrafted.
Dwight Powell - 2nd Round. 45th pick.

Look at the Suns starting lineup
Jae Crowder - 2nd round. 34th pick.
Deandre Ayton - 1st round. 1st pick.
Devin Booker - 1st round. 13th pick.
Chris Paul - 1st round. 4th pick.
Mikal Bridges - 1st round. 10th pick.

The time to win it all is just a matter of winning each game as they come at you one at a time.

Playing the most perfect game that you can at that time is possible when you keep your head and concentrate never letting minor disappointments upset your balance and inner peace.
