Golden State is sending a hard double team over to Luka every time he holds onto the ball more than three seconds. Golden State said they were going to guard him one on one. That was a smoke screen.

It is hard to play defense though when the refs call a foul if a Maverick breaths on a Warrior.

Good quarter by Dinwiddie and Brunson offensively but everyone else was terrible, especially defensively.

I hate to say this, but they gave up. They got demoralized when they shot so terribly in the first half and never recovered mentally.

Draymond going to coast to coast off a miss shot is unacceptable.

Golden State is going to be a tough puzzle for Kidd to solve. The Mavs need to hit their shots better in Game 2. They also need to make Steph work harder on defense.

Super disappointing 1st game... everyone has looked like G-leaguers, except Luka and maybe Spencer.

I mentioned this on the GB, their motion offense is different, and harder to defend.
Dinwiddie should lead more, Luka should focus on being post up option.

The Warriors are a much tougher team to defend than the Suns. Warriors play better team basketball and everyone is moving without the ball.

Luka 6/18, 5/8 from FT and 7 TO? Maybe his worst game of the playoffs.
Didn't look good to me. I'm not even sure why they sent him back there in the 4th just to go 0/3 and 2 TO.
Bad display of basketball overall. The hype sure went down fast.
Let's hope that they learn how to play basketball again in the next game. The team didn't look ready at all.

Phoenix ran by Chris Paul controlling everything. Curry on the other hand controls his team but also wants to them to freely run their offensive sets/plays. Big difference but the flaws Phoenix has shows even more.

Yeah DFS was bad.
Nothing unexpected happened, this is similar to the 2 road games in the RS, sans the comeback in the 4th in the 2nd game.

Just a bad game overall and definitely Luka's worst playoff game so far in his career. We can't have shooting splits of 36/23/67 and expect to win. I'm not sure we can play worse then this.
Coach Kidd definitely needs to go to the drawing board.
