Re: Tyler Dorsey
The reactions to this signing remind me of the comments that were made when the Mavs signed Bullock last off season.

Here you have this year F4 semis full game, Dorsey plays for Oly and you can see Larkin also, playing for Efes.

I don't understand what exactly Mavs expect from Dorsey.

That doesn’t mean the guy sucks. Obviously he had to show something that they liked. Right now he’d be the 3rd or 4th option as a ball handler. Maybe with better coaching and better teammates around him he will be able to show more of what he can do.
If I remember correctly most on this board hated the Bullock signing and thought he was just another Knick scrub they Mavs were signing and thought it was a waist of a roster spot. Now he’s one of the most important guys on the team.
Maybe, just maybe the actual NBA guys know what they’re doing. At least a little bit more than just dude on a message board. Just saying.

So he's the final signing that rounds up the roster.

You have watched that reality quick.

I'm 100% sure that I know much more about Euroleague and players playing there than actual Nba guys.

There's nothing wrong with Dorsey, if you give him playing time and open hands, he's decent player. But he won't get that in Mavs. He looks to me as Burke replacement. But like I said, I like him more than Ntilikina or Green so not the worse signing for sure. Btw. he's terrible FT shooter, so everyone, who are nervous watching Luka, we have someone being even worse.

So, the Mavs didn´t want to sing Dragic like 4 days ago because the wanted to have one spot open for a trade. Now, the trade, the open spot, everything is forgotten. It´s seem all of that was an excuse for not make that signing, maybe Kidd didn´t want him.

Re: Tyler Dorsey
I like the sign, he can play and provide instant offense from the bench.
I don't know if he will have minutes but he played for one the best EL team so he have exp.
A two way is low risk high reward.

Re: Tyler Dorsey
This guy should take Trey Burke's minutes. Which is like 5 minutes per game

Looks like 2-way contract, it really isn't important, I'm surprised he took 2-way over guaranteed money in Eutope

Re: Tyler Dorsey
I like it more as a 2 way. If Bingham can do half of what he did in college I like him to possibly make the full roster this year. If not I want him on the other 2 way.

That would be very strange, he could get near 1.5 mio net in Europe. 2-way is what? 500K?

Re: Tyler Dorsey
yeah he is a 2 way but he is still trying to get onto the roster with his negotiations. Bingham is a better option to put on the roster because we need to identify if he can play well enough to justify taking a shot at trading Powell and maybe Kleeberfor a star since they are both on expiring contracts worth around 20 million in total so you really need to have a 3rd big developing nicely on a vector to become part of the rotation. obviously this is needed in order to feel comfortable with trading Powell and or Kleebe. That would help us if we could sell high on Powell and Kleeber since they have otherwise wont be worth more than they are now since they have an expiring contract this year and that makes them a lot more valuable in a trade. Those trades if possible would likely happen a lot closer to the TDL as more teams decide to rebuild and trade their expensive starters who they consider too old to be considered in their future plans.
