After 11 games Kidd said Luka needs rest and are looking when are they going to rest him. :banghead: Tough schedule ahead, so he might possibly miss this game. We'll see.

I know they don't have CP3 but 7.5 point favorite Suns are getting blown out by same Magic team.

There's alot of parity in the league right now.

How about reducing Luka's workload instead of sitting him? Is sitting him going to also be the best option in the playoffs? He's 23.

How about Luka being bad in the 4th? Does Kidd think that sitting him will help with that?

Stupid solution dealing with the effect instead of the cause.

They didn't have Cam too.

Sarver deserves it, he is a stupid cheap owner just like Cuban.

For starters, i would change his sub pattern. Phil was a master at rotating Kobe and MJ. They did a lot on offense but he always found a way to somewhat keep them fresh at the end of the games. While Kidd, and Rick before him, just runs Luka in to the ground with these full Q's and then even subs him in early in the 4th if needed. Makes no sense. We all can see that sometimes he starts dragging his feet even after 8 mins in the 1st Q, yet he still plays for another 4 mins. It's so silly.

Kidd needs to figure out how to use Wood more and get Doncic rest early. Bench has been very solid so far, use that to your advantage. Don't overplay Bullock or DFS if they can't get it together. Give Wood and Green extended minutes and roll with it.

Luka not playing some games is the only option. His usage will always be very big and not playing a game is not only those 35 minutes less, but the whole game day less.

Mavs should have planned that before the season and find some kind replacement for Brunson.

Mavs are favored by 5 points.

We have won the previous four meetings.

Yeah we all know that. Unfortunately it is what it is so Kidd could have started with the little things and be more tactical.

No it's not. It doesn't address the problem and can't be done in the playoffs.

If they will not make a move at the TDL then they are more stupid than we think.

Nobody build like Luka can have usage near 40% and play 82 RS games. Usage can't go drastically down, because of the roster construction, so the only other option is load management. Ideal is to bring Luka well rested in playoffs. The question is, can Mavs even make playoffs with Luka missing 20 games?

Can you talk to them and tell them to make a trade much earlier? :D TDL already feels way too late.

But all jokes aside, a lot of teams this season will try and tank for Wemby and i feel like there is going to be A TON of player movement. Mavs fortunately have some expiring contracts that they can use and some decent role players almost any team would want. They absolutely need to be very aggressive by trying to get a 2nd star. Then just continue with rebuild in the offseason, because this is not a contending team. This still looks like a full rebuild ever since Luka and Brunson were drafted but they locked their own cap up by handing out dumb contracts.

We have to be patience... I only hope that Nico (Cuban can't) has finally understand that this is not the way for win the ring.

Like you said there will be a lot of good players available for sure.
Probably the big move will arrive next summer with all our picks (i think Luka will force it) but a couple of little moves could change our season and make more interesting this year.

True no Cam. The Magic were missing Anthony, Banchero, Fultz, and Isaac.

Point is the Suns had more than enough talent to beat the Magic and got blown out.

Sure there should a little more concern from a Mavs perspective, but there's alot of parity right now.

I tried to be more positive and not just blast everything like some, but I'm fed up. Lose to okc, orl, and both pets and wiz without their TWO best players. This team is pure trash

Blazers 131
Mavs 93

No Crowder too.

Suns screwed themselves in those years, Ayton is unhappy to play there... CP3 is old and injuried everytime... Booker goes to the psychologist 'cause Luka... They are pretty done more than us
