The Blazers started 10-4 and are now 19-22, losing three straight games on the road, then dropping two at home to the Orlando Magic and Cleveland Cavaliers.

Are the Mavs the perfect visitor in town for them to feel better or can the Mavs put them in a bigger hole?

Depends on if Lillard is playing or not? They are pretty motivated and I expect them to start hard. Nurkic and Lillard promised in the last interview thet they will be better. I also expect Luka to go for 50 points tonight.

Wood is questionable.

Luka is doubled immediately and isn't able to do anything, but 3 point shooting helped keeping the Mavs in the game.

Luka has now missed his last 6 FTs. Ouch.

Has to be a rarity. Team hitting 8 3s in the first quarter and still trailing.

Ugly minutes without Luka

This Frank-Dinwiddie-Hardaway-Bertans-Pinson lineup isn’t ideal. Sure would be nice to get some guys back soon.

Just rest Luka and Spencer, it's hopeless.

Why couldn't rest them tonight and go harder tomorrow with or without Wood? Even if they made the Blazers work a little game 1 it could help game 2.

Yish, good thing I couldn’t watch. It ranks pretty high in the worst Luka half… 1/5 FT. No hope that he’ll ever become a really good FT shooter by now, but come on…

Every time mavs got reasonable close, blazers just hits 3 straight 3s and its close to 20. Lost the game in 2nd quarter when luka rested. From even to down 10+, never below 10 after that

Sure, its fine just playing thr bench. But doesnt give much with 4 guard lineups and lawson as biggest guy

Hopefully we bounce back tomorrow. Need DFS, Green, and Kleber back asap

Not a bad game at all, we make our 3s... Bullock lights out finally. But we can't defend.

Without Wood and Kleber out bigs are trash, we protected the paint with a lot of guys and they destroy us with 3s.
Lillard was unstoppable, Bullock and Frank were destroyed by him.

Very bad game by Luka, we all know that without his MVP performances we can't win.

Tomorrow revenge game, Dame acted too much tough with Luka last night. This was not a great idea. Trust me.

The bad:
Luka was trapped all game, this just shows why Wood dual threat as a popper and as a roller is critical, Luka trapping led to many TOs, Dinwiddie isn't a PG but a slasher.
Defense w/o Maxi, Doe Doe and Green is 2021 Mavs, and you have to outscore opponents.

What happened to Wood actually? Rest? It is disappointed we wasted so much money and roster spots on useless players, that cant score and cant defense.
